The Thematic Research Project " Collect, identify, describe, exhibit. The curatorial cycle and the production of ", developed at the University of São Paulo (members: Museu de Arte Contemporânea [Museum of Contemporary Art], Museu de Zoologia [Museum of Zoology], Museu Paulista [Paulista Museum], Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia [Museum of Archeology and Ethnology] and Instituto de Física [Institute of Physics], besides UNICAMP and UNESP) and financed by FAPESP São Paulo Research Foundation, offers three (3) postdoctoral fellowships for doctorates with outstanding research. The research will be developed at the University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil. We are looking for candidates who are capable of developing research on one of the lines below: 1. Prior experience in research in archaeometry with specialization in material characterization by means of imaging and spectroscopic techniques is required. The candidate must have previous publications in the area and international experience. The candidate must have a doctor s degreed less than 7 (seven) years. The application should be made by email to the supervisor of the project, Marcia A. Rizzutto (rizzutto@if.usp.br). In addition to the e-mail, curriculum vitae must be attached, the document proving that the candidate holds a doctor's degree and at least two letters of recommendation. The evaluation of applications for the postdoc fellowship will consider the following aspects: candidate's research history and analysis of the letters of recommendation received. Regarding the curricular analysis, the number of publications of the candidate will not be the only consideration, but also their quality and relevance. In addition, applicants will be

summoned for an in-person or on-line interview with the supervisor to evaluate the candidate's areas of expertise in the research topics related to the project. The Thematic Project is coordinated by Professor Ana Magalhães of MAC / USP This open position can be applied to Brazilians and foreigners. The implementation of the fellowship is conditional on the approval of the candidate selected by FAPESP. If the decision is endorsed by FAPESP, the selected candidate will receive the amount of R$ 7,174.80 per month. There is a technical reserve equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the amount received and is intended to meet unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity of the thematic project. If the PD grant holder resides in a different address and needs to move to the city where the research institution is located, he / she may be entitled to a grant-installation. - Collaborate in the curatorial reformulation of the Honor Salon, based on the researches carried out; - Develop annual reports required by FAPESP; - Publish scientific papers in Brazilian and foreign scientific journals; - Disseminate the results obtained in scientific events; - Develop extension activities to disseminate results; - Participate in regular group meetings.
