NexIndio Exploring for Copper & Gold in South America Corporate Presentation
Disclaimer
NexIndio The company is focused on exploring for Copper and Gold in South America The first property is located in Chile roughly 20 km from the famous El Indio mine operated by Barrick Gold and in the same mineral belt as the emerging world-class Pascua-Lama deposit A deposit on the property was profitably mined on a small scale in the sixties High potential for large Copper-Gold-Silver Deposit similar to Chuquicamata or Pascua-Lama
The Property The Hediondas property is situated between the Andes Cordillera range and a string of hills called the Doña Ana IV Region in the Elqui Province of Chile Property covers ~1850 ha Property Location
Regional Geology El Indio Mineral Belt The El Indio Pascua Mineral Belt is a worldclass metallogenic province Pascua - Lama - 3rd largest highsulfidation Au-Ag deposit worldwide - 572 Mt @ 1.21 g/t Au - 27 Million Oz. Au equiv. El Indio - "Bonanza-style" epithermal deposit - 8.7 Mt @ 12.4 g/t Au - 3.5 Million Oz. Au Veladero - 542 Mt @ 0.75 g/t Au - 13 Million Oz. Au Belt Total: >50 Million Oz. Geology and Alteration Las Hediondas and El Indio are located in zones of equivalent alteration and occur in similar structural settings. Hence, they are metallo-tectonically comparable.
Exploration Model Las Hediondas yields copper, gold and silver mineralization which are of increasing economic interest world-wide. According to the presented background information and field observations, the exploration target is a large disseminated hydrothermal deposit similar to Chuquicamata or Pascua-Lama. Cu-rich veins in disseminated mineralization Explosive breccias Boiling Disseminated Cu-Au-Ag ore High-grade hyrdothermal Cu/Au/Ag breccias and veins Heat Source Advanced argillic (clayhematite) alteration
Past Exploration The property has seen very sporadic exploration beginning in the 1930 s Small-scale artisanal mining and processing of high-grade material in the 1960 s 5 holes drilled by Newmont / Echo Bay Mines in the 1990 s Looking for large, low-grade Au deposit Anomalous results, up to 0.5 g/t Results didn t meet minimum company target requirements Newmont wasn t interested in Cu Holes drilled parallel to the structure that hosts Las Hediondas No modern EM/IP geophysical surveys conducted Las Hediondas structure not tested by drilling
