The Story of Castleopolous In a far away land, there is a kingdom (_1_) called "An Castleopolous", the main export and production product is the stone brick (_2_) which is used as building materials and in interactions with other kingdoms. Everyone in An Castleopolous has something to do with stone brick making and the entire burg (town) is designed to build and export bricks. The castle keep (_3_) has the instructions for brick making. The castle keep is also the control center of the kingdom. It regulates all activity in the kingdom in order to keep the internal environment of the kingdom stable (_4_). To help protect the kingdom, it is surrounded by an area of pure air (_5_) that is inside the kingdom s wooden pallisade (_6_). The pallisade controls movement in and out of the castle through guarded entrances (pores). Scattered throughout the kingdom are structural supports (_7_) that keep the air from collapsing in on the kingdom. cell, cell membrane, cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, homeostasis, nucleus, protein The King (_8_) is found in the castle, fondly known as His Highness Dee-eN-A, he directs all activities in the kingdom including expansion and creation of other kingdoms should his kingdom grow too large. Bricks come in all shapes and sizes and any citizen of An Castleopolous can get the transcribed instructions (_9_) that are sent out of the keep through the keep s two-layer fortification (_10_), and can begin making their own bricks. Bricks are generally produced and made in small shops (_11_) found throughout the burg. These small shops can be built by the citizens (_12_) who graduate from The Brick Makers Technical College (_13_), whose headquarters are in the castle keep. These citizens use the instructions that come into their shops to order the exact ingredients necessary to make the bricks. The ingredients are delivered to the shop by special delivery carriers (_14_) that drop off their package and go back to get the next one. deoxyribonucleic acid, messenger ribonucleic acid, nuclear membrane, nucleolus, ribosomal ribonucleic acid, ribosomes, transfer ribonucleic acid After the brick is constructed, they are placed on the Kings Road (_15_), with its embedded shops, which can deliver the brick anywhere in the kingdom. In order for a brick to be exported to other kingdoms, the Kings Road system takes the brick to the Knights Express Delivery Service (_16_), where the bricks are packaged and labeled for export. Sometimes bricks don't turn out right, and the "rejects" are sent to the Kingdom Repair Team (_17_) where they are broken down for parts or destroyed and are removed from the kingdom as waste. The Kingdom Repair Team also helps to keep the kingdom clean. The burg powers the kingdom and its brick shops using generators that are housed in the kingdom s dams (_18_). Another export from the kingdom is butter (_19_) which are produced and transported along the Queens Road which lacks embedded shops (_20_). Golgi Apparatus, lipids, lysosomes, mitochondria, rough endoplasmic reticulum, smooth endoplasmic reticulum
The burg has a single building (_21_) dedicated to the storage of both food and waste. This building is both the grocer and the outhouse. The entire kingdom is enclosed by a large pallisade that is closely guarded by the embedded Carbon-Hydrogen-Oxygen guildsmen (_22_) who are careful to check the passports and paperwork of every citizen and product that tries to leave or enter the kingdom. Only the packages and citizens with proper passports or paperwork are allowed to come into or pass out of the kingdom. The flow of packages or citizens most commonly moves from areas of high to low concentration (_23_). Sometimes, the movement of water (_24_) into or out of the kingdom to prevent drought or flooding is required. Both of these movements require no energy input (_25_) by the guildmen. When the guildmen have to carry the packages or citizens into or out of the cell, it requires a lot of energy (_26_) for the movement to occur. active transport, carbohydrates, diffusion, osmosis, passive transport, vacoules "An Castleopolous" has a rival kingdom. It is called "Pl Castleopolous" and has all the same functions that An Castleopolous has, except for a few differences. Pl Castleopolous, Queen Dee-eN-A, has a sweet tooth needs a constant supply of cakes. Her kingdom has fields of solarpowered panels (_27_) scattered about its kingdom that transform the raw energy of sun into productive energy for the kingdom. Pl Castleopolous needs extra support because of its sugar production capability, so it has need for a stronger, more rigid barrier (_28_) outside its wooden pallisade. Since it produces sugar, it requires a much larger grocer/outhouse for storage (_29_). The sugar is a fairly simple (_30_) structure compared to the bricks (_31_) structure. Some of Pl Castleopolous sugar is used to manufacture bread which is stored with other products in special warehouses (_32_) in the kingdom. Pl Castleopolous is a very colorful kingdom indeed. Scattered throughout the kingdom are special lighting systems (_33_) that give the kingdom brilliant colors. chloroplasts, cell wall, central vacoule, chromoplasts, leukoplasts, macromolecule, molecule All of the buildings, rooms, structures, and roads in An Castleopolous and Pl Castleopolous (_34_) are essential for the existence of these kingdoms. Sometimes, in the world of Castleopoli, the kingdoms must be able to move from one location to another. These mobile kingdoms have huge oars (_35_) to propel them through the world. Other kingdoms have designed extensions to their pallisade (_36_) to give them more surface area and to help sweep invadors away from their kingdom. cilia, flagella, organelles
