We ' r e g i v i n g o u t C h i n e s e Zo d i a c C a l e n d a r Bookmarks taken from ActivitiesForKids.com. We ' r e h a v i n g a c o l o r i n g contest. Each day of the week students come in and color a d i ffe r e n t r o o s t e r. T h e y a r e displayed on our ar t bulletin boards. More students than expected are par ticipating and are already turning in their pages. Three judges will decide the best one and will win a beautiful, red, 150paged, lined journal. Ms. Gaenzle posts both o n Tw i t t e r a n d o n t h e circulation desk her book r e c o m m e n d a t i o n s d a i l y. On this d a y, she recommended "Macbeth # k i l l i n g i t ", a r e t e l l i n g o f Shakespeare's Macbeth i n t e x t a n d e m o j i fo r m a t. It's hilarious and even more so if you' ve read the original p l a y. These books and others Bonnie recommendsare frequently checked out. L a s t l y, w e w e r e i n s p i r e d by another school and bought school-colored c h e s s p i e c e s o f Pu r p l e and Gold. They are triple weighted which helps w i t h s e t u p a n d c l e a n u p. They have been a hit!
