Training on Mass Spectroscopy organized by ISMAS (Indian Society for Mass Spectrometry) at Shimla, India during the period from 07.10.2004 to 12.10.2004. Experienced in handling Thermal Analyzer systems viz., TGA (thermogravimetric analyzer), DSC (differential Scanning Calorimetry) DMA (dynamic mechanical analyzer) and GPC (gel permeation chromatography) Experienced in operating of IR, Particle Size analyzer, FE-SEM and X-ray diffraction instrumentation. 4. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Work carried out during Postdoctoral research in Akita University, Japan. Preparation of Iron rich carbon material using template synthesis method. Polyurethane foam was used as the base material for the synthesis process. Further characterization was carried out using instruments viz., FE-SEM, XRD, TGA etc. (2005-2006, Cont..) Research carried out in the field of high performance polymers and membranes. Synthesis and characterization of high performance polymers viz., polyimides, polyamides, poly(amide imide)s, poly(ester imide)s etc. and their characterization by various analytical tools i.e. TGA, DSC, DMA etc. at Bhavnagar, from Feb, 2000 to 2005 Worked as a Project entitled Preparation of polymeric membranes for bioseparation from October 2002 to September 2003 at Reverse Osmosis Division, CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, India. Worked in Silicate and Catalysis Division, handled instruments like Particle Size Distribution, Gelpermeation Chromatography, Sedigraph etc., to study the behaviour of particles under various conditions and their distribution pattern.(2001) 5.
