Cinderella
Fairytales Fairytales include a good character, an evil character, magic, royalty, a problem, and a solution. They usually include events that happen in patterns of 3s, 6s, or 7s.
Characters In fairytales, there is usually a good character and an evil one.
Setting The setting of a fairytale is usually far, far away in a castle, forest, or village.
Plot Fairytales contain a problem and a solution. It is usually good versus evil and involves the use of magic.
Patterns Fairytales sometimes contain objects or events that happen in patterns of 3, 6, or 7.
Standards Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate an understanding of key details. Describe how characters respond to major events and challenges. Compare and contrast two or more versions of the same story by different authors or from different cultures.
