1. Introduction The Lesser Sunda - Banda Seascape (SBS) is located in the center of the Coral Triangle and has been designated as a conservation priority. Recently, there have been increasing conversation investments in the region, and to make more informed decisions, there needs to be access to the best information available to know the status of the SBS, and identify priority regions. There is a lot of available existing regional data in the SBS area. They are, however, stored in different locations and often not very accessible. A dedicated online interactive map would provide a useful service for government, NGOs and academic institutions to make accessing data a more efficient and effective process. Due to the tremendous effort and investment already made in the development of the Coral Triangle Atlas, the underlying architecture is already in place to develop a version of the Coral Triangle Atlas specific to the Sunda Banda Seascape marine ecoregion. In the above context, WorldFish was contracted by WWF to develop a new online interactive map, providing technical lead and expertise. WorldFish is working closely with WWF to provide guidance on data structures needed for online integration into the CT Atlas. Thus, WorldFish has created the Lesser Sunda - Banda Seascape Atlas website (http://sbsatlas.reefbase.org) to provide access to upto-date spatial information for the Sunda Banda Seascape region. This builds upon the existing layers within Coral Triangle Atlas but also incorporates additional layers, identified by WWF that will increase the effectiveness and widespread distribution of the product. Basically the website is under continuous development and updating. Additional layers identified by WWF can be incorporated into the website when provided by WWF. Thus this deliverable should be regarded as a snapshot of the website at the point of release of this report. 2. Kick Off Meeting A kick off meeting was held on 24 th and 25 th July 2014 in WorldFish headquarters, located in Penang, Malaysia. The main objectives of the meeting are to plan the project timeline and the content of the website. The outputs of the meeting are: a. Project activities and timeline. b. Layers to be included in the online interactive map. c. Standardized dataset format Shapefile. d. Standardized metadata attributes. e. Data sharing platform Dropbox. Page 3 of 8

3. Online Interactive Map Development 3.1. Website The Lesser Sunda - Banda Seascape Atlas online interactive map is hosted by ReefBase and can be accessed via the URL http://sbsatlas.reefbase.org. The WorldFish team is responsible to check, compile and upload the datasets provided by WWF-Indonesia team. This website can be accessed by the open public. No special permission such as user login is required in order to view the layers or download the datasets. Most of the datasets are downloadable in shapefile format for further processing or analysis by using the desktop GIS applications. 3.2.
