Ifoundthattheeffectofinter-sectorallinkagesisimportantto determine the gains of closing sectoral productivity gaps. Closing the gap in services gives the biggest gains. Ialsostudiedtheeffectofsector-leveldistortionsandfoundthatits effect could be big depending on whether the rents from distortions stay in the economy or not.
