Safety instructions Safety instructions The respective responsible party for transportation, installation, operation, maintenance, and the disposal of the product or parts of the product must ensure the following in order to avoid accidents, malfunctions and collisions as well as undesired effects on the environment: All warnings and safety instructions must be observed at all times! Failure to follow the safety instructions may lead to accidents and severe personal injury for you or your colleagues. Please read this document before commissioning the equipment! Please read this document before commissioning the Lamp Panel. As the operator, you are responsible for making sure that the staff has understood the operation and safety instructions. Train your staff! Before asking staff to work with the device, provide training regarding general and special safety instructions and accident prevention regulations. Only suitably qualified personnel should work with the Lamp Panel! The Lamp Panel is designed exclusively for application in electrical or energy systems and facilities operated by appropriately trained staff, who perform the necessary work. This staff comprises people who are familiar with the installation, assembly, commissioning and operation of such products. Make sure that all information is available to the staff! Make sure that it is always possible for personnel to view the regulations and operating instructions for safe work and the applicable information on behavior during accidents and fires, and if necessary, this information must be posted at the place of work. Do not make any changes in the device! Do not make any changes in the device without consulting with Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen. General notes General notes The product and the delivered devices and special tools meet the laws, regulations and standards, and in particular the applicable safety and health requirements, which were valid at the time of the delivery. When used as intended and when the prerequisites and conditions listed in this document and the warnings in the document and/ or on the product itself are observed, the product does not represent a danger to persons, property and environment. This applies over the entire lifespan, from delivery to installation and operation up until disassembly and disposal. The company quality assurance system ensures a uniformly high quality standard, in particular with respect to the adherence to safety and health requirements.. Intended use. Transport and packaging ATTENTION! Damage to the lamp panel! Pay attention to the changed connection diagrams when you replace a previous model of this lamp panel with this one. ATTENTION! Impairment of the drive, on-load tap-changer, and transformer function! Only use the lamp panel for the onload tap-changer specified in the order. Installation, electrical connection and commissioning of the lamp panel must only be carried out by qualified, skilled personnel and only in accordance with these operating instructions. The plant owner must ensure the intended use of the lamp panel. For safety reasons, any unauthorized work such as installation, alteration, electrical connection, commissioning or modification to the lamp panel is forbidden without first consulting MR! The trouble-free operation of the drive, the on-load tap-changer and the transformer may be put at risk. Keep the original packaging for later transport. Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen does not assume responsibility for damage due to improper transport. Shipping should take place only using the original packaging. If the original packaging is no longer available, make sure the new packaging provides sufficient protection from damage, moisture, heat, and cold.. Performance features The Lamp Panel is particularly characterized by the following properties: Easy installation and operation Compact, lightweight construction Display of the operating position of the on-load tapchanger in a control room Remote-controlled change of the operating position of the on-load tap-changer.4 Scope of delivery The lamp panel is shipped as follows: Lamp panel (standard housing) Two fastening clips (Form B) Operating instructions NOTE! The shipment is to be fully checked for completeness on the basis of the shipping documents. The parts must be stored in a dry place until assembly. The scope of functions of the device depend on the ordered equipment or device variant, not on the contents of this documentation. General notes.5 Function The lamp panel is used for the display of the current operating position of the on-load tap-changer and the manual change of the operating position from any location. The distance between this location and the motor-drive unit is limited to the voltage drop of the line and depends on the voltage applied on the motor-drive unit. The number of displayed operating positions depends on whether a continuous or decade contact range is connected to the lamp panel..5. Continuous contact range In the case of the system of the continuous contact range, a terminal of the position transmitter module is assigned to each position of the on-load tap-changer. Only this terminal leads to a signal in the intended position, but all other terminals do not. Since 8 lighting elements are provided on the lamp panel, a maximum of 8 positions can be displayed with one continuous contact range connected to a lamp panel (Figure )..5. Decade contact range If more than 8 positions are to be displayed, a decade contact range must be connected to the lamp panel. In the process, the zero and first power are displayed separately. 0 terminals are assigned the values 0 to 9 and 0 terminals the values 00 to 90. In Position 9, for example, the terminal with a value of 9 and the terminal with a value of 0 conduct signals (Figure ).
