Life Project- What is my Goal? 2 Introduction Why are we struggling in this life? This is a very important question that we should ask oursleves. We should have a very high aim but we ll not be able to know it until Allah (SWT) tells us. There are various verses of the Quran where Allah (SWT) mentioned about Paradi se, what you ll see in Paradise and how you can enter Paradise. We ll continue the description of Paradise in Surah Zukhruf. Earlier we discussed verse 70 where it was mentioned about entering Paradise. Allah (SWT) will command the people of Paradise to enter the land of peace, security & perfection ( along with the ones who did similar deeds like you ) with joy, happiness and delight. H ow will be the life in Pa radise? Surah Zukhruf verse 71: Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally. Imagine you are in Paradise, a place you have never been before but Allah (SWT) took care of everything there. Your entry in Paradise will be without any responsibility, everything will already be prepared. When y ou will enter Pa radise, you will recognize it. You will be guided to your palaces.

Life Project- What is my Goal? 3 means it will be circulated for them is a pasive tense. It means circulated i.e. people will be circulated for your service. Who will be circulating around them? The servants of the people of Paradise. For each person, in Paradise, there will be thousand servants and each of them will do a different job. Thousand jobs of yours will be taken care of. Even the details of the things will take c are of. Allah (SWT) is telling us about Paradise so that we hope for it. Only the moments you spend for Allah (SWT)and you are connected to Allah (SWT) is the real time otherwise it s not real. These servants will not get tired, they will not be bored and they will not be out of service. They will remain as immortal young boys. Allah (SWT) described at another place that when you look at these servants, they will look like scattered pearls ( because of their beauty). Imagine how will be the dwellers of Paradise.

Life Project- What is my Goal? 4 What will be circulating for the dwellers of Paradise? And cups Plates from gold When the servants will be circulating, they will be serving the food and drink. Here it s mentioned about the container of the food and drinks. They will present it to you beautifully. Even the detail that the arrangement before the food i s soothing for your eyes is taken care of in Paradise. Anything you see in this life is nothing compared to the Hereafter. Your food will be served in the best of the plates. The plates will not be gold plated but the whole plate will be of gold. You ll be reclining, e n joying the beauty under the throne of Allah (SWT), enjoying the company and the servants will bring the food in the best of plates which you can t even imagine. They will circulate your drinks in the best of the cups presented perfectly and beautifully the way you desire. Now we eat and drink because we need to eat and drink but in Paradise it will be for pleasure.

Life Project- What is my Goal? 5 What delights the eyes What your souls desire : In Paradise, you will have what your souls desire. Now you don t have whatever you desire and you feel so happy when you get what you desire. Whatever you desire will be placed infront of you in Paradise. Allah (SWT) made it exclusively for the believers. This is the ultimate goal that Allah (SWT) wants you to have. Allah (SWT) created us to live in Paradise and He gave us the trial, tests and nurturing in this life inorder to go to Paradise. When you know your goal, it makes it easy f o r you to worship in this life because I know there s another life. As a result, you ll have a vast thinking because Paradise is very vast more than the width of the heavens and the earth together. : You ll get whatever delights your eyes. It s not the food and drink itself, it s their presentation as well. from which means s omething that delights.

Life Project- What is my Goal? 6 There will be freedom in choices in delights from whatever you desire and what is soothing to the eyes from: F ood D rink Clothes Relations Scene ries And you will be there forever. You will not be worried or scared of anything ( sickness, any changes of the heart or death etc.). You will be everliving with everlasting delight in Paradise. There will be no end to the enjoyment. Allah (SWT) is vast and He s giving you Paradise that is so vast. This life is just a trial and a test.
