The thesis is concerned with a stratigraphic study on the rocks exposed in the study area as well as a detailed taxonomic study on the invertebrate megafossils encountered including bivalves, gastropods, ammonites, corals and echinoids. The paleoecologic implication of this fauna and their environment is also dealt with. - 1995: Ph. D.
