Lunations and Long Term Aspects This month the New Moon occurs on October 7 in your polar sign, Libra. If your birthday is within a day or so of April 4 this should bring a new relationship into your life. This could be a new serious relationship with a significant other, a phase shift with an existing relationship, a new friend or possibly a business partner. It could also simply mean you find a new hair stylist or financial adviser, but someone new will come into your life on a fairly personal basis or a new situation involving someone you already know. With Saturn and Mercury in fairly close proximity to the New Moon you can expect a certain amount of seriousness and responsibility to accompany it as well, perhaps as a result of new information. Mars and Venus are conjunct in passionate Scorpio, your 8th House of transformations, sex, death, taxes and shared resources. Clearly having Venus and Mars conjoined in that house has fairly clear implication for your love life. Tying this is with the lunation in your house of relationships strengthens that even further. In other words it's quite likely that something significant is going to occur in this part of your life. Pluto is well-established in Capricorn at this point such that retrograde motions will no longer remove him from this sign. Thus, he's in your 10th House of career, status and reputation for the long-haul where he'll be operating his backhoe in such a way to completely renovate this part of your life over the next several years. This may be kick-started by something that relates back to that relationship situation. Bear in mind that "status" comprises many possibilities. You could get married or divorced; promoted or fired; end or start a business; drop out or graduate from school; become a parent or have the last child leave; be elected to public office or go to jail (or maybe both, LOL); or any number of things. This will occur over several years, however, but be prepared for numerous changes in this part of your life, particularly if you have any old unresolved issues in this part of your life. If you've done anything that you've tried to hide, you can expect it will be unearthed and on display to the entire world sometime during this transit. Pluto in Capricorn on the mundane level has already done some major digging with regard to the government and corporations, both of which are ruled by Capricorn. In fact, you can expect a few more big surprises in that are as well. With Jupiter and Uranus conjunct in your 12th House of angels and demons there is undoubtedly some action going on there as well. This is the "woo-woo" house that comprises such things as enlightenment, dreams, visions, illusions, hospitals, institutions, seclusion, hidden enemies and self-undoing. They're in cahoots with Pluto for this lunation, by the way, so this increases the chances of something from your past coming back to bite you or someone you thought you could trust turning on you and trying to 2
damage or even destroy your reputation in some way in a covert manner. In other words, watch your back and don't be too trusting. The Full Moon on October 22 is in your Sign again so if your birthday is within a day or so of April 20 this will be a direct hit to your Natal Sun. A Full Moon usually brings an ending or shift to a new phase which is most likely to be on the personal level. News or information that effects a transformation of some sort is likely, which will relate to something from your past or those status changes. These have favorable undertones, provided you deal with any old issues properly. Be particularly careful of deception involving someone you think is a friend and also be wary of accidents; this is not the time to take unnecessary chances, particularly around water. Not all friends are out to get you, however, any networking could prove to be very beneficial at this time. If you need some favors called in, now's a good time to do so. A change of course is likely at the spiritual level through a close relationship. You will recognize it if you watch for it. Taking action to expand your dreams is favored as well, which is likely to change the course of a relationship. Short Term/Daily Aspects October 1: Responsibilities in or to a relationship will be highlighted. News related to work or your health may require some adjustments or a change of course. Validate the sources, however, to assure they're accurate and not deceptive in some way. This news or information may conflict with expanding your dreams or even undermine you in some manner. Don't let it trigger some action on your part which will be self-defeating. October 2: Unexpected news is likely which is also likely to relate to your job or perhaps your health. Be sure to take care of yourself this month until Mars leaves your 8th House, a transit which can predispose you to accidents. October 3: Encounters with the opposite sex will be particularly intense at this time. Mercury enters Libra, your house of relationships, facilitating communications with those close to you in some way, either personally or in a business relationship. October 4: Expect the unexpected today which will have a lasting effect on you in some manner. Someone in your circle of friends, a coworker, or organization you're involved with which could have something to do with water or possible be a Pisces will have a major impact on your situation. October 5: Information from someone close to you may trigger some changes to your status. More unexpected events will have further impact and could have financial implications. Annoyances or irritations at a deep level may make you feel restless without knowing why. October 9: Pay attention to conversations with those close to you and how they relate to your goals. New networking opportunities may open up as well through someone you know well. October 10: More annoyances or irritations are out there today which may come about through a conversation or other communication from a female or perhaps from a financial institution. October 11: Some challenges will come your way today. Be especially careful with all your activities and expect some confrontations. Don't take any unnecessary chances. Someone may do a really good job of getting you riled up over something; do your best not to overreact and make it worse.
