On "It's Supernatural" it was the biggest movement of miracles in the history of America. The Azusa Street Revival. Arms growing out of thin air, fingers appearing where none existed, people in wheelchairs totally healed, see the amazing stories of William Seymour and The Azusa Street Revival. Do angels exist? Are healing miracles real? Is there life after death? Can people get supernatural help from another dimension? Has the future been written in advance? Sid Roth has spent twenty-five years researching the strange world of the supernatural. Join Sid on this edition of, "It's Supernatural." Sid: Hello, Sid Roth here, welcome to my world where it is naturally supernatural. That rarified air from heaven, it is going to flow through your television, through your video, I love being in the that's my oxygen. Heaven air is my oxygen. And you can have normal oxygen; I like my oxygen. My guest as a young man met elderly people who were involved in the biggest move of miracles in the history of America. It was called the Azusa Street Revival. He tells me that he met some of the people and heard first hand what occurred, stories such as ears that did not exist popping back into place, arms that did not exist coming out and growing, these are called creative miracles. Did you know that the Azusa Street Revival that happened in the early 1900's was the first integrated church in America? God picked a one-eyed black man to lead the greatest move of God's Spirit in miracles I believe since the first coming of the Messiah and the man that started this, Tommy Welchel, the man that started this revival literally William Seymour, he was the worlds least likely, would you agree? Tommy: Oh yes I would think so. Sid: And isn't it true that he used to go to his meetings, now by the way you have never seen this before, you may start seeing this after I tell you this, but the guy that led this outpouring of miracles would go to a meeting, and is it true that he would put a box on his head during the meeting? Tommy: Yes, always. Once in a while he would put his head in a big shoebox but most of the time he would sit in that pew Sid: Why did he do that? Tommy: In obedience to God. He sat there and he would pray sometimes ten minutes, sometimes an hour and ten minutes.

Sid: I mean but service was going on, they don't do this in seeker sensitive churches, don't you know that? Tommy: Seymour did, and that's why he was successful. He didn't go by protocol; he went by whatever God told him to do. Sid: And when he would take the box off, what would that signify. Tommy: It signified he was fixing to start speaking and everybody would go take their seats. Sid: Tell me one miracle that you heard of that occurred with William Seymour? Tommy: The greatest that I knew of was that Brother Seymour would tell them to sing in the Spirit and then that fire would come up out of the roof, would come down and then he... Sid: Wait, you are going too fast for my peanut brain. A fire would go through a roof? Tommy: Yes. Sid: Explain what you mean. Tommy: Okay a fire would come up out of the roof and the fire would go up about fifty feet and the fire about fifty feet away from it in the sky would come down and mingle with it. Sid: Could people see this fire? Tommy: Oh yes, matter of fact they got many calls to the fire department, not from people in the meeting, but from people outside that would see it. Sid: Really, it was the fire of God's glory. Tommy: Yes, now it wouldn't consume, you didn't smell any fire, but that is when the greatest miracles would happen, and he would, he got up was telling them and Brother David Garcia was there, and he said, he was the one that told me about it that was the most vivid. Sid: Let me explain this. Tommy was a young runaway and one of the women that was involved in the Azusa Street revival, took him in and took care of him and most of these people were children, and Tommy was a young man and they were elderly and they told him the story of first hand what they saw over and over again that he can tell the stories better than them, so again, what did they tell you? Tommy: Well Brother Seymour told them do you want to have some fun like we did a bout a year ago and the man's leg grew out, he says let's pray for this man's arm. And the man's arm had been ripped out on a job related with a big machine, and it had ripped out even the shoulder. Sid: So in other words he did not have the limb at all? Tommy: He didn't have the shoulder, the arm or nothing, and he, when he prayed for him Brother Garcia said "Brother Tommy, I was standing very close where I could look right down into that socket and see the bone." And he said, "Brother Seymour prayed for him and he just kind of stood there for a while with his hands on his head smiling," and he said, "All of a sudden that bone started growing out and right behind it would come this flesh going around the bone."

And he said it probably took about two seconds but to him it was in slow motion and that mans arm just grew out and he said within a few minutes even the fingernails grew back on his fingers. Sid: If someone were to see that with their very eyes it would transform their life forever. Tommy: Well of course, even them telling me about it got to where it was like I was there and it transformed my life. Sid: Speaking of transforming lives, your book, "They Told Me Their Stories," I'm told that people like, I have a friend that's an evangelist, when he reads out loud in front of a meeting your book, he just reads the stories, that faith comes and miracles start happening, and your foreword here by Billye Brim, she is a friend of mine, what happens when she reads this out loud? Tommy: Oh my, she has the same thing. She has had visitations of the Shekinah glory, Shekinah means you can see it; everybody can see it. Sid: Now William Seymour prophesied about the next revival that will come, tell me about that. Tommy: He prophesied that in about a hundred years, he did this in 1909, that there would be a Sid: So about a hundred years would be 2009? Tommy: Yes, that would be about, before or after? Sid: About, okay. Tommy: He said another revival like unto Azusa Street only greater would come again, only this time it wouldn't be in one place, it would be all over the world. Sid: Guess what, that is happening right now. Don't go away, we'll talk about it. We'll be right back to, "It's Supernatural." Now for the first time you can read the reports from eyewitnesses sharing what really happened at the Azusa Street Revival that started in 1906. It was a time when the atmosphere of heaven invaded the earth, miracles were commonplace, the crippled walked, the blind could see, fingers supernaturally grew back on a hand, cancerous tumors disappeared before their eyes, amputated limbs grew back as God's glory filled the air. Call now to get your copy of Tommy Welchel's book, Azusa Street, They Told Me Their Stories." When you read this book full of the powerful testimonies of the miracles that were the norm at Azusa Street: People who have read this book out loud to others have witnessed a powerful move of God's Spirit in the service. Don't miss out on getting your copy of Tommy Welchel's book, Azusa Street, They Told Me Their Stories." Get ready for the atmosphere of heave to invade your life. Call or write today. Sid Roth has found the key to worldwide revival.

this is God's time to reach the Jewish people with his love. Messiah Jesus has torn down the wall dividing Jew and Gentile, the two together form one new man to reach the world. God's method to reach the Jewish people is through signs and wonders. This is why our website SidRoth.org is jam packed with tools to equip you to move in signs and wonders, understand Israel and the Jewish roots of the church. We now return to, "It's Supernatural." Sid: Hello, Sid Roth here with Tommy Welchel, and I am having so much fun, listen how would you have liked to have been alive a hundred years ago when what was called the Azusa Street Revival broke out? More major creative miracles, I mean teeth materializing, body parts materializing, and I have this book called, "They Told Me Their Stories," because you see Tommy was a young man and he met some of the people that were in the Azusa Street Revival and they told him their stories and as he reads or even tells these stories outrageous things happen. You were in Yukon, Oklahoma and you started telling the stories in this book and what happened? Tommy: Well soon after I told the stores Brother David Rhodes, he and his wife Sharon, a few weeks after I was there, a spot in the middle of the platform, a smoky fiery kind of substance started coming up and he checked to make sure that it wasn't the young people setting the steamer off, or if it wasn't a broken air conditioner and it wasn't and he turned around and said, "How many of you see this stuff?" And they all raised their hands. And he said it began to grow it even grew on over to where the young people were, it filled the whole church, Sid: What was the stuff? Tommy: It was the shekinah glory, it was a smoky looking kind of, one woman said kind of an orangey color, and it went on over to the young people and they all fell out in the spirit and hysterical laughter, they just couldn't stop laughing and four brand new converts came up to Brother David and said Brother David it dawned on them and they had only the baptism a few weeks, they figured out what this stuff is and he kind of laughed and said, "What is this?" They said, "It's God's laughing gas." Sid: Now when you spoke the Shekinah glory of God came in that church in Yukon? Tommy: Yes. Sid: But this is normal, this is the atmosphere of heaven, this is what should always happen. Tell me about the person that had the four fingers restored. Tommy: Oh yes, that was the Langford's, you would have fallen in love with Sister Langford, you would have tolerated, he was very blunt spoken. But he got the evidence done.

They had this man come in and on the job his fingers had been cut off, okay, and so Brother Langford grabbed his hand and of course he told the man, "God is going to heal you," he says, "Lets let it grow back." And the man says what? And he says God will grow them back. So with the mans permission he got his arm and stuck it up in the air and started praying and Sister Langford was helping him hold that arm up and the fingers started growing out and before they got fully grown out Sister Langford, she hit the ground, she passed out from seeing suck a miracle and Brother Langford started going around the church, the mission, screaming look at this, hey his fingers wasn't there and God grew them back, look at this, look at this, and he is screaming this and of course they had a big shouting service. Sid: Tell me about that woman that had difficulty walking to a meeting that was dying. Tommy: Yes, that was Sister Laura Lincroft; the lady was about oh fifty, fifty-five years old, and so she came to the meeting, she had lung cancer, she weighed about sixty-five pounds, she was about five foot, six. Sid: She had difficulty I understand even getting to the meeting? Tommy: She had this staff she had, she would stick it in front of her and then scoot up, little bitty baby steps up to the staff, stick the staff out in front of her, she had two miles and it took her three hours to get there. Sid: Do you know what I have found, when people sacrifice to come to a meeting where there are miracles, they usually get their miracle. Tommy: Absolutely. Sid: There is something that I think God honors their hunger. Tommy: Absolutely, I believe the same thing, because that woman, she had met Laura Lincroft, and she looked at her and says this is the woman I want to pray for me. So Sister Laura prayed for her and the pain left her but during the three more hours that she was there the woman gained forty pounds. Sid: Instantly? In three hours? Tommy: In three hours she gained forty pounds. Sid: Now I don't want you to pray that for me. Tommy: Pray some of that off of me. But she went back to her doctor the next day, now she knew exactly how much she weighed, she weighed before she started down there and she weighed when she got back home and her doctor didn't know her, her doctor's name was Thomas Wyatt, which later on founded the ministry called Wings of Healing. Okay he, they were making her fill out a new clients form, they didn't recognize her, and wouldn't believe her. Sid: Was she totally healed? Tommy: Yes, completely, they checked her out and says your insides are like new, inside and out, your lungs are like brand new lungs, and he says that's impossible.

She says I know but through my God nothing is impossible. And his only remark was you're going down to that old warehouse aren't you? And she was and enough of his people started coming to him totally healed that he went down there and he became a Christian and within months he gave up the medical practice. Sid: And he started a ministry. Tommy: Called Wings of Healing, he had miracles galore, all over the world. Sid: Did you hear that? A medical doctor had miracles galore all over the world. Don't go away; wait until you hear what happens next. We'll be right back to, "It's Supernatural." When Jesus prayed that they all may be one, there were only two people groups, Jews and Gentiles. Denominations did not exist. God's purpose from the beginning was for all nations to become one in Yeshua, Messiah Jesus, to break down the middle wall of separation dividing Jew and Gentile so that the world may believe that Yeshua is the Messiah and Lord over all. When Jewish spiritual DNA merges with the New Covenant Christian DNA there will be what Paul called: That's why Sid Roth's website is loaded with cutting edge articles and teaching about "The One New Man.' Log on to: We now return to, "It's Supernatural." Sid: Hello, Sid Roth here with Tommy Welchel, and Tommy, during the commercial break you were telling me some outrageous things, you have seen people that were born with harelips where their lips were split and they have pretty good plastic surgery today, but back the time of Azusa Street Revival they didn't have pretty good plastic surgery, tell me about people that had harelips. Tommy: Well Brother Langford, his main thing he liked to pray for if he seen anybody come in there with the harelip and some of those were growths that, not only would there be a harelip here but some of the gum would be gone, and where the gum was gone there were no teeth there. Sid: I have seen that. Tommy: Or teeth were real crooked, when he prayed for them, not only would the lip come back, the gum would come back and teeth would straighten out or teeth would come in there. And I asked Sister Langford about how many of these do you think he prayed for, she says oh not that many, many a hundred a year. Sid: A hundred a year? Now as this instant or gradual?

Tommy: Instant, no, no these were instant, right now, creative miracles, now. And Brother Langford was quite a man of faith, and I love the stories of teeth with Sister Lucille. Sid: Tell me about that? Tommy: She was four foot ten, and just as feisty, like a little bandy hen, she would pray for these teeth, she loved to pray for people with teeth, I cannot tell you all the things she would tell me about the teeth, some of them were pretty bad, but she said she would pray for them and they had a bad Sid: Well that was before dentists, before people went to dentists on such a regular basis. Tommy: Yeah, right, and she would pray for them and they would be filled, and not, they weren't filled with gold or anything, they were filled with enamel, and then I said well would some of them pray. And she loved; I said well what if there wasn't a tooth there? And she said well I loved to put my finger on the gum and pray for them and have the new tooth push my finger up. That was a game for her; she enjoyed that. Sid: How would you like to play that game, I would like to play that game. Tommy: Yes. Sid: What about the wheelchair people? Tommy: Well now that was mainly Sister Carney, she loved wheelchairs, now a lot of them did this too, but she was kind of the ringleader of them. And Sister Carney would get these people, and she had a rule, you would put the flap up first. Sid: Yeah, the flap is so the foot has a place to stay. Tommy: Yes. Sid: But is the flap is there it would be difficult to walk out of the chair. Tommy: To get up? She thought it was a lack of faith if you didn't put that flap up, so she would put them up, and she prayed for one man that I love, I got to meet the man, his name was Brother Aubrey, she prayed for Brother Aubrey, he had these huge braces on, and she prayed for him and she said, "Get up and walk." And he said, "I can't, these braces are too heavy." So she had the people with him to take off those braces, "Now get up and walk." This was about 1908, or 09, he got up and walked, and he was healed. And he founded a sky pilot program. A pretty good-sized church there in Los Angeles. Sid: Now did a lot of people get out of wheelchairs? Tommy: Oh many, many got up out of wheelchairs, not only when Seymour, you have got to remember Seymour was only one man, he only preached three times a day. Sid: Only three times a day, seven days a week. Tommy: Yeah, seven days a week. Sid: And you are feeling sorry for yourself Mr. Pastor. Listen to that, that is normal but go ahead.

Tommy: Now of course at this time he would have mass healings, Seymour would, he would say, "Everybody here on cots, tonight everybody that's here on a cot is going to get healed." The he would say, "I command you in the Name of Jesus to be healed in Jesus Name." And all on cots got up. And walked away. If he said wheelchairs Sid: and it is going to be greater a hundred years from 1906. Tommy: Yes, 06, it is going to be greater than that of Azusa, and see Parham made identical prophecy but over on the east coast. Sid: Now tell me about the person who was missing a nose. Tommy: Oh the one that had the cancer nose? Sid: yes. Tommy: That's a really good one; you could see it was Sid: that's not good to have cancer in the nose. Tommy: Well it is for what happened. Sid: Okay. Tommy: It is a good story. She had this mask, she wore a mask because it was you know, it didn't look good, and it didn't smell good either. But they took the mask off and prayed for her and that wasn't right now, within about maybe twenty seconds it took that to grow back. And it was a brand new nose. Sid: My goodness, could you picture that happening? Tommy: Yes, I would get excited with them telling me this by three or four years, I am looking at that person telling me and I am telling them now, let's go to this because I knew what was coming next. Sid: Tell me one of the more unusual miracles you remember. Tommy: Well I, this lady had a hooknose and Sister Mangram said that it was a witch's nose, like you see in cartoons. Sid: I can picture that. Tommy: Okay, and it had been broken and so she felt sorry for her and prayed for her, and the nose it wasn't instant, it took maybe thirty or forty minutes, it was healed And she said your nose looks a lot better, and she said but I don't like it because it has got a point on the end, and she said well lets pray for that. So again she walks around for about thirty, forty minutes, and she comes back and she said, Brother Tommy, that woman had the most beautiful nose I ever saw. Sid: All this instantly? Tommy: Well sometimes it took twenty or thirty minutes, or forty, but most of it was right now! The growth or whatever, when William Seymour prayed for that leg, the man had been totally paralyzed in a train accident, working at the train yards. Union Station wasn't but six blocks from there, and the doctors wanted to amputate, it really was bad.

But Seymour, so they did, they had to cut it off, and it was gone, and he came up and Seymour says, "Would you like to be healed of that?" He says yes. And he said would somebody come up and take these pins down and get this mans wooden leg off. Sid: Now that is faith. Tommy: He says, "Now how is God going to grow you a new leg?" The man says, "God, God, God, God will grow it." He says right now. Seymour was a man of faith. And I mean supernatural faith. He didn't doubt God at all. And so he prayed for this man and this Shekinah glory would be so thick when he would do these things Seymour would be coming through it and he would take his foot and kind of push it aside for a little bit and it would come right back. Sid: You are telling me that that leg that was amputated came back? Tommy: He prayed for it and it grew out. Sean says he lost it, when he came to he was at the back of the church, he didn't know how he got there, but he went berserk. Sid: Well listen, you would go berserk if that happened to you too but the glory invaded the studio and Tommy and I agree in Yeshua's Name, that's in Jesus Name that that glory invades your home right now, and I, you know there are people that are so worried, it is time for supernatural peace to invade your body and supernatural peace has a name, his name is Jesus. And if you believe that Jesus died in your place on the cross, and you tell him you are sorry for all of the mistakes that you have made, he is just and faithful to forgive you of all unrighteousness. And his blood washes away every rotten thing you have ever done. This isn't religion, this is life, this is purpose, this is the real life, you have tried the worldly life, now try the life in God's atmosphere, say with your mouth, "Jesus I make you my Lord, come live inside of me, fill me with your Spirit." And someone's ears are being opened right now, in Jesus Name, and someone is going to hear God, not someone, this is normal, you are going to hear God, there is a presence for you to hear God better than you have ever heard him before. And someone's back has just been healed and someone's neck has just been healed. You know in the glory all things are possible. Tommy: All things, I see in the spirit a young girl, she is deaf, and God has called her to preach. Sid: Young girl, ears open in Jesus Name. Tommy: Yes. Now for the first time you can read the reports from
