doktorsku tezu u kojoj je unapredio teorij spektroskopije kvazi-termalnih xumova koja se odnosi na tzv. udarne signale, odnosno signale koji dolaze od elektrona koji, osim xto stvaraju fluktuirajue mer ivo elektriqno po e u kosmiqkim uslovima ostvaruju i fiziqki kontakt sa antenom na svemirskim modulima, stvarajui dodatnu komponentu signala. Tokom obrade podataka na dosadax im svemirskim misijama doprinos ove komponente je bio zanemar iv jer su antene koje su korixene, imale veliku duinu i mali preqnik u odnosu na karakteristiqne duine koje opisuju svemirsku plazmu i plazmu sunqevog vetra. U tom kontekstu, kako satelit STEREO, sa kojeg su podaci obraivani u ovoj disertaciji, ima kratke antene relativno velikog preqnika, teorija udarnih signala je morala biti unapreena kako bi interpretacija satelickih mere a bila zadovo avajua. Obradom podataka sa ove misije dobijene su vrednosti elektronske temperature, koje nisu dobijene eksperimentalno jer na ovom satelitu elektronski analizatori koji su naprav eni da mere ovu veliqinu nisu radili i ne rade ispravno. Tako je ustanov en je metod za masovnu obradu podataka, koji je pokazao dobro slaga e i koji je uporeen sa sliqnim metodama na drugim misijama. Metod je stvorio osnovu za prav e e baze podataka temperature elektrona. U periodu od 2011. do 2016. godine objavio je i vixe radova u kojima su dati rezultati proraquna parametara Xtarkovog pomeraja profila spektralnih linija bazirani na semiklasiqnoj teoriji (Foster 1927), kao i teorijska razmatra a elektronskog fluksa plazme sunqevog vetra na telima razliqitih geometrijskih oblika koja su unapredila standardno korixenu teoriju ograniqenog orbitalnog kreta a (Laframoaz i Parker, 1973). Takoe je aktivan na razvoju metoda primene spektroskopije kvazi-termalnih xumova u jonosferskim i laboratorijskim plazmama. Dosadax i rad dr Mihaila Martinovia predstav en je u ukupno 12 nauqnih referenci (2 rada u vrhunskim meunarodnim qasopisima, 1 rad u meunarodnom qasopisu, 7 saopxte a sa meunarodnih skupova xtampana u celini ili izvodu i dve teze). Indikator nauqne kompetentnosti (M) za dr Mihaila Martinovia je: M = 30, ili po pojedinim stavkama: M21=16; M23=3; M33=3;M34=2; M71=6; O znaqaju publikovanih rezultata kandidata govori navoe e egovih radova u domaim i inostranim nauqnim qasopisima. analizu mnogih posmatranih pojava u sunqevom vetru. 3. Ostali podaci Pored navedenog nauqnog rada dr Mihailo Martinovi je obav ao sledee delatnosti znaqajne za nauqnoistraivaqki rad: Drao je vixe predava a u Laboratoriji za svemirske nauke Univerziteta Kalifornije u Berkliju (decembar 2014, decembar 2015), Pariskoj opservatoriji (maj 2014, mart 2016, maj 2016), Matematiqkom (decembar 2014) i Fiziqkom (jul 2013) fakultetu Univerziteta u Beogradu kao i dva kratka predava a u sklopu pripreme mladih astronoma za Meunarodnu Olimpijadu iz astronomije (novembar 2016).
