Dress Resale FAQ What is the Dress Resale and how can I benefit from it? The Dress Resale sells new to lightly worn skating attire and skating accessories at discounted prices. There are several ways in which you can benefit from the dress sale. To name a few: - Buy new to lightly worn skating attire or skating accessories at discounted prices - Get rid of no longer used skating items (clean out your closet for a profit!) For beginner skaters competing in the Basic Skills Competition in early February, the Dress Resale can be a great way to purchase nice competition attire for a reasonable price! What can I sell at the Dress Resale? You can sell practically anything related to skating at the dress sale. Examples include: - Skating attire: dresses, skirts, tops, pants, jackets, gloves - Skating accessories: skates, zuca bags or other skate bags, soakers, hard guards *Note: All items should be in good condition* How should I tag my item? If possible, please fill out the inventory sheet and tag your items prior to dropping them off at the Dress Resale. You can use the Dress Resale tag template provided. However, there will be extra tags at the drop off days for you to use as necessary. On the FRONT of the tag, please write: - The size of the garment if applicable - A short description of the garment/item to be sold - Your asking price On the BACK of the tag, please write: - Your name - Your phone number - Your email What is the participation cost for Sellers? For every item sold at the Dress Resale, the JAC will be collecting $5.00. When you come to the pick-up days you can collect your unsold items, your proceeds from whatever was sold on your behalf, and pay whatever participation cost is due for your items sold. Skating Apparel Resale Instructions for the Seller Anyone wishing to sell items at The Skating Apparel Resale will need to complete the following before their items will be accepted into the sale. 1. Inventory Sheet listing every item you wish to sell 2. Individual Sales Tags one for every item listed on your Inventory Sheet. They should be filled out and attached with a safety pin to the applicable item you are selling. Dresses must be hung onahanger. INVENTORY SHEET The Inventory Sheet is used to list all the items you are planning to sell at the resale. It should be the 1 st thing you complete. Be as detailed as you can, it will help us to keep track of your items and their sale. (see example below). Use your Inventory Sheet to easily transfer the pertinent information to the sales tag. (see example to the right) 2. The Inventory number for each item is the first 4---letters of your LAST Name followed by the item number listed in the far left column on the Inventory sheet (see above and right) 3. Attach a sales---tag to every item you are selling with a safety pin. 4. Hang dresses on a hanger DROP---OFF Price$150 1. Every item MUST be clean, tagged and listed on your personal Inventory Sheet. We re sorry, but soiled or torn garments and items with incomplete information will not be accepted. 2. Hang dresses on a hanger 3. Drop---off your resale items with completed paperwork during the designated drop off dates/times. (s will not be accepted in the Club Office): PAYMENT and PICK---UP Payment Type ALL payments and UNSOLD items MUST be picked up at the end of The Skating Apparel Resale during designated pick up times. $5 payment per item sold will be collected at this time. Any remaining items will be disposed of or given to charity.
