1. Hydrographic Office / Service: The Maritime Authority Suriname has finished the Strategic Business Plan for 2013-2017. Within this plan actions regarding Cartography and MSI are exclusively included in a separate unit. Nautical management Administration Hydrography & Fairwaymanagement Cartography & MSI Nautical P&D 2 Surveys: 2.1 Coverage of new surveys. a) Nearshore survey and Mudbank monitoring 1

b) Survey for updating ENC SR402218 and SR302014 and national paper charts 2014 and 2218/ BA 99 c) Port survey Singlebeam and Side Scan Sonar survey -Smalkalden for safety and rehabilitation of the port. 2

3.3 INT charts: INT chart scheme S-11 part B The INT chart 4191 is planned for year 2014 Scale :300.000 3.4 National paper charts: Updates in 2015 3.5 Problems encountered No certified Cartographer Due to transition from NLHO to UKHO delay in ENC and paper Chart update 4 New publications & updates: Tide table 2015 for the Suriname 4.2 Means of delivery Paper and digital 5. MSI 5.1 Existing infrastructure for transmission Currently there are no radio warnings for coastal area. Notices to Mariners are published through internet and submission to Nav- Area coordinator. NtM published in local papers and website, emailed to mariners. 4
