Approimatio properties of this operators are eplored: the rate of covergece i terms of the usual moduli of smoothess is give, the covergece i certai weighted spaces is ivestigated. We study q-aalogues of Baskakov-Schurer-Szász operators ad it s Stacu geeralizatio. I the last sectio, we give better error estimatios for the operators 6.3 usig Kig type approach ad obtaied weighted statistical approimatio properties for operator 9.1. Keywords: Baskakov-Schurer-Szász operators, q-iteger, asymptotic formula, Voroovskaja type theorem, rate of covergece, modulus of cotiuity, Stacu operator. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classificatio: Primary 41A25, 41A35, 41A36. 1. Itroductio This work is at cofluece of two mathematical research areas amely liear approimatio processes ad statistical covergece. To reveal what ovelties this paper brigs, we briefly preset both a backgroud ad some historical commets. The mai problem of approimatio theory cosists i fidig for a complicated fuctio a close-by simple fuctio. At 70 years old, Karl Wilhelm Theodor Weierstrass 1815 1897 proved the desity of the algebraic polyomials i the space C[a,b] ad of the trigoometric polyomial i C[a,b]. Weierstrasss approimatio theorem statig that every cotiuous fuctio o a bouded iterval ca be approimated to arbitrary accuracy by polyomials is such a importat eample for this process ad has bee played the sigificat role i the developmet of aalysis. By usig probability theory Berstei [1] proved the Weierstrasss theorem ad defied approimate polyomials kow as Berstei polyomials i the literature. I 1987, Lupaş [2] itroduced the first q-aalogue of Berstei operator ad ivestigated its approimatig ad shape-preservig properties. Aother q-geeralizatio of the classical Berstei polyomials is due to Phillips [3]. After that may geeralizatios of well-kow positive liear operators, based o q-itegers were itroduced ad studied by several authors. I [4] Agratii itroduced a ew class of q-berstei-type operators which fi certai polyomials ad studied the limit of iterates of Lupaş q-aalogue of the Berstei operators. I 1974, Kha [5] studied approimatio of fuctios i various classes usig differet types of operators. I 1950, Szász defied ad studied the approimatio properties of the followig operators S f; = e j j=0 j! j f, 1.1 wheever f satisfies epoetial-type growth coditio [6]. I 1962, Schurer [7] itroduced ad studied the approimatio properties of liear positive operators. A etesio i q-calculus of Szász-Mirakya operators was costructed by Aral [8] who formulated also a Voroovskaya theorem related to q- derivatives for these operators. I Email addresses: vishuarayamishra@gmail.com, vishu_arayamishra@yahoo.co.i Vishu Naraya Mishra, preeti.iita@gmail.com Preeti Sharma 1 Correspodig author Preprit submitted to Elsevier August 24, 2015
1976, May [9] showed that the Baskakov operators ca reduce to the Szász-Mirakya operators. After that several other researchers have studied i this directio ad obtaied differet approimatio properties of may operators [10]-[14]. Motivated by the operators due to Yüksel [15], i the year 2013, we cosidered the followig operators. Let p,k, N ad f be a real valued cotiuous fuctio o the iterval [0,. We defie the Baskakov- Schurer-Szász type liear positive operators as L,p f, = p b k,p pk 1 where b k,p = k k 1 pk ad s k,p t = e ptptk. k! Now we give a auiliary lemma for the Korovki test fuctios. Lemma 1. Let e m t = t m, m = 0,1,2. we have i L,p e 0 ; = 1, ii L,p e 1 ; = 1 p, iii L,p e 2 ; = 1 1 p 2 4 p 2 p. 2 Lemma 2. Let p N. The followig hold: α := L,p t ; = 1 p. := L,p t 2 ; = 1 p 2 2 p 2 p. 2 2. Some auiliary results 0 fts k,ptdt 1.2 Let the space C B [0, of all cotiuous ad bouded fuctios f o [0,, be edowed with the orm f = { f : [0, }. Further let us cosider the Peetre s K-fuctioal which is defied by K 2 f, = if g W 2{ f g g }, 2.1 where > 0 ad W 2 = {g C B [0, : g,g C B [0, }. By the method as give [16] p.177, Theorem 2.4, there eists a absolute costat C > 0 such that where ω 2 f, = 0<h [0, is the secod order modulus of smoothess of f C B [0,. Also we set K 2 f, Cω 2 f,, 2.2 ωf, = 0<h [0, f2h 2fhf 2.3 We deote the usual modulus of cotiuity of f C B [0,. fh f. 2.4 Theorem 1. Let f C B [0,, the for all [0,, there eists a absolute costat C > 0 such that L,p f, f Cω 2 f, α 2 ωf,α. 2.5 2
Proof. Let g W 2 ad,t [0,. By Taylor s epasio, we have Defie gt = gg t t L,p f, = L,p f,f f t ug udu. 2.6 1. 2.7 p Now, we have L,p t, = 0, t [0,. Applyig L,p o both sides of 2.6, we get o the other had t L,p g, g = g L,p t, L,p t ug udu, 1 p t Thus, oe ca do this L,p g, g = L,p t t ug udu, ug udu g t 2 ad 1 p 1 p u g udu, 1 p u g udu 1 2 p g = g L,pt, 2 t L,p t ug udu, 1 p g L,p t 2, g α 2 ] g [ α 2. = g α 2. 1 p u g udu We observe that, L,p f, f L,p f g, f g L,p g, g f f p 1 ] f g g [ α 2 ωf,α. Now, takig ifimum o the right-had side over all g CB 2 [0, ad from 2.2, we get L,pf, f K 2 f, α 2 ωf,α Cω 2 f, α 2 ωf,α, which proves the theorem. 3
3. Weighted approimatio I this sectio, we obtai the Korovki type weighted approimatio by the operators defied i 1.2. The weighted Korovki-type theorems were proved by Gadzhiev [17]. A real fuctio ρ = 1 2 is called a weight fuctio if it is cotiuous o R ad lim ρ =, ρ 1 for all R. Let B ρ R deote the weightedspace ofreal-valuedfuctios f defied o R with the property f M f ρ for all R, where M f is a costat depedig o the fuctio f. We also cosider the weighted subspace C ρ R of B ρ R give by C ρ R = {f B ρ R: f is cotiuous o R} ad Cρ [0, deotes the subspace of all fuctios f f C ρ [0, for which lim ρ eists fiitely. Theorem 2. See [17] ad [18] i There eists a sequece of liear positive operators A C ρ B ρ such that ad a fuctio f C ρ \C ρ lim A φ ν φ ν ρ = 0, ν = 0,1,2 3.1 with lim A f f ρ 1. ii If a sequece of liear positive operators A C ρ B ρ satisfies coditios 3.1 the lim A f f ρ = 0, for every f C ρ. 3.2 Throughout this paper we take the growth coditio as ρ = 1 2 ad ρ γ = 1 2γ, [0,,γ > 0. Now we are ready to prove our et result as follows: Theorem 3. For each f C ρ[0,, we have lim L,pf f ρ = 0. Proof. Usig the theorem i [17] we see that it is sufficiet to verify the followig three coditios lim L,pt r, r ρ = 0, r = 0,1,2. 3.3 Sice, L,p 1, = 1, the first coditio of 3.3 is satisfied for r = 0. Now, Fially, L,p t 2, 2 ρ = L,p t, ρ = L,p t, [0, 1 2 1 p = o1. [0, 1 1 2 L,p t 2, 2 [0, 1 2 1 2 p [0, 1 2 4 p [0, 1 2 2 p 2 = o1. Thus, from Gadziv s Theorem i [17] we obtai the desired result of theorem. We give the followig theorem to approimate all fuctios i C 2[0,. 4
Theorem 4. For each f C 2[0, ad α > 0, we have Proof. For ay fied 0 > 0, lim L,p f, f [0, 1 2 1α = 0. L,p f, f [0, 1 2 1α L,p f, f L,p f, f 0 1 2 1α 0 1 2 1α L,p 1t 2, L,p f f C[0,0] f 2 0 1 2 1α 0 f 1 2 1α. The first term of the above iequality teds to zero from Theorem 6. By Lemma 2ii, for ay fied 0 > 0 it is L easily see that,p1t 2, 0 1 2 teds to zero as. We ca choose 1α 0 > 0 so large that the last part of the above iequality ca be made small eough. Thus the proof is completed. 4. Voroovskaja type theorem I this sectio we establish a Voroovskaja type asymptotic formula for the operators L,p. Lemma 3. For every [0,, we have lim L,pt, = 1, 4.1 lim L,pt 2, = 2. 4.2 Theorem 5. If ay f C 2 [0, such that f,f C 2 [0, ad [0, the, we have [ ] lim L,p f, f = f { 2 2/2 } f. Proof. Usig Taylor s epasio to prove this idetity ft f = t f 1 2! f t 2 rt,t 2, where rt, is Peao form of the remaider, rt, C B [0, ad lim t rt, = 0. Applyig L,p to above, we obtai [L,p f, f] = f L,p t, 2! f L,p t 2,L,p rt,t 2,. By Cauchy-Schwarz iequality, we have L,p rt,t 2, We observe that r 2, = 0 ad r 2 t, C 2[0,. The it follows that L,p rt, 2, L,p t 4,. 4.3 lim L,prt, 2, = r 2, = 0, 4.4 uiformly with respect to [0,A], where A > 0. Now from 4.3, 4.4 ad Lemma 3, we obtai lim L,prt,t 2, = 0. 5
Hece, lim [L,pf, f] = lim f L,p t, 2 f L,p t 2,L,p rt,t 2, = f { 2/2 } f, which completes the proof. 5. Error Estimatio The usual modulus of cotiuity of f o the closed iterval [0,b] is defied by ω b f, = It is well kow that, for a fuctio f E, where E := ft f, b > 0. t,,t [0,b] lim 0 ω b f, = 0, { } f f C[0, : lim is fiite. 12 The et theorem gives the rate of covergece of the operators L,p f, to f, for all f E. Theorem 6. Let f E ad ω b1 f, be its modulus of cotiuity o the fiite iterval [0,b1] [0,, where a > 0. The we have L,p f, f C[0,b] M f 1b 2 b2ω b1 f, b. Proof. The proof is based o the followig iequality L,p f, f M f 1b 2 L,p t 2, For all,t [0,b] [0, := S. To prove 5.1, we write If,t S 1, we ca write 1 L,p t, ω b1 f,. 5.1 S = S 1 S 2 := {,t : 0 b, 0 t b1} {,t : 0 b, t > b1}. ft f ω b1 f, t where > 0. O the other had, if,t S 2, usig the fact that t > 1, we have 1 t ω b1 f, 5.2 ft f M f 1 2 t 2 5.3 M f 13 2 2t 2 N f 1b 2 t 2 where N f = 6M f. Combiig 5.2 ad 5.3, we get 5.1. Now from 5.1 it follows that L,p f, f N f 1b 2 L,p t 2, 1 L,p t, ω b1 f, N f 1b 2 L,p t 2, 1 [L,pt 2,] 1/2 ω b1 f,. 6
By Lemma 2, we have L,p t 2 b. L,p f, f N f 1b 2 b b 1 ω b1 f,. Choosig = b, we get the desired estimatio. 6. Stacu approach I [19] Stacu itroduced the followig geeralizatio of Berstei polyomials S α f, = f k 1 s=0 αs k 1 k P,α k,0 1, 6.1 where P,α k = s=0 1 αs k 1 s=0 1αs. We get the classical Berstei polyomials by puttig α = 0. Startig with two parameter α,β satisfyig the coditio 0 α β. I 1983, the other geeralizatio of Stacu opreators was give i [20] ad studied the liear positive operators S α,β : C[0,1] C[0,1] defied for ay f C[0,1] as follows: S α,β f, = k α p,k f,0 1, 6.2 β where p,k = k 1 k is the Berstei basis fuctiocf. [1]. k Recetly, Ibrahim [21] itroduced Stacu-Chlodowsky polyomial ad ivestigated covergece ad approimatio properties of these operators. Motivated by such types of operators, we itroduce a Stacu type geeralizatio of the Baskakov-Schurer-Szász type operators 1.2 as follows: L α,β,p f, = p b k,p 0 s k,ptf tα dt, 6.3 β where b k,p ad s k,pt defied as same i 1.2. The operators L α,β,p f, i 6.3 are called Baskakov-Schurer- Szász-Stacu operators. For α = 0, β = 0 the operators 6.3 reduce to the operators 1.2. We kow that ad b k,pt = 1, s k,p = 1, 0 0 b k,pt = 1 p 1, s k,p = 1 p. Before proceedig further, we eed some lemmas for provig our et results. Lemma 4. Let e m t = t m, m = 0,1,2. we have L α,β,p e 0, = 1, L α,β,p e 1, L α,β,p e 2, = = αp, pβ 2 p1 pβ 2 2 4 2 2αp pβ 2 [ 2 2 2αpα 2 p 2 p 2 β 2 ]. 7
Proof. We observe that, L α,β,p e 0, = L,p e 0, = 1, Fially L α,β,p e 1, = = β L,pe 1, α β L,pe 1, [ 1 ] α β p β = αp. pβ L α,β,p e 2, = = = 2 β 2L,pe 2, 2α β 2L,pe 1, β 2L,pe 0, 2 [ β 2 1 1 2 4 ] p p 2 p 2 2α β 2 1 α 2 p β 2 2 p1 4 pβ 2 2 2 [ 2αp 2 2 2αpα 2 p 2 ] pβ 2 p 2 β 2. α 2 Lemma 5. il α,β,p t ; : = µ1,p = 1ααp βp. pβ [ iil α,β,p t 2 ; : = µ 2 2,p = β 2 ] [ p 2 pβ 2 2 2 2β1α 2αpβ pβ 2 Theorem 7. For each f Cρ [0,, we have [ 2 2 2αpα 2 p 2 β 2 p 2 lim Lα,β,p f f ρ = 0. Proof. Usig theorem i [17] we see that it is sufficiet to verify the followig three coditios lim Lα,β,p t r, r ρ = 0, r = 0,1,2. 6.4 Sice, L α,β,p 1, = 1, the first coditio of 6.4 is satisfied for r = 0. Now, ]. ] L α,β,p t, ρ = [0, β β β β L α,β,p t, 1 2 [0, αp 1 2 βp αp βp 0 as. Coditio of 6.4 hold for r = 1. Similarly, we ca write 8
L α,β,p t 2, 2 ρ = L α,β,p t 2, 2 [0, 1 2 [ 2 ] p1 pβ 2 1 [0, [ 2 2 2αpα 2 p 2 p 2 β 2 2 4 2 1 2 2αp pβ 2 ]. [0, 1 2 which implies that L α,β,p t2 ; 2 ρ = 0 as. Thus, from Gadzhievs Theorem i [17] we obtai the desired result of theorem. Theorem 8. Let f C ρ [0, ad ω [0,a1] f, be its modulus of cotiuity o the fiite iterval [0,a1] [0,, where a > 0. The, we have L α,β,p f f [0,a] C [1a 2 2 ω [0,a1] f, ], C > 0. Proof. The proof is similar to Theorem 6 with appropriate modificatios. We omit the details. 7. Rate of covergece We ca give some estimatios of the errors L α,β,p f f, N for ubouded fuctios by usig a weighted modulus of smoothess associated to the space B ργ R. The weighed modulus of cotiuity Ω ργ f; was defied by López Moreo i [22]. We cosider Ω ργ f; = 0,0 h It is evidet that for each f B ργ R, Ω ργ f; is well defied ad fh f, > 0,γ 0. 7.1 1h 2γ Ω ργ f; 2 f ργ. The weighted modulus of smoothess Ω ργ f; possesses the followig properties. iω ργ f;λ λ1ω ργ f;, > 0,λ > 0 7.2 iiω ργ f; Ω ργ f;, N iii lim 0 Ω ργ f; = 0. Now, we are ready to prove our et theorem by usig above properties. Theorem 9. For all o-decreasig f B ργ R, we have 0, > 0, N, where L α,β,p f, f L α,β,p ν,γ 2 ; 1 1 L α,β,p Ψ 2 Ω ; ργ f;, ν,γ t := 1 t 2γ, Ψ t := t, t 0. Proof. Let N ad f B ργ R. From 7.1 ad 7.2, we ca write 9
ft f 1 t 1 2γ 1 t Ω ργ f; = ν,γ t 1 1 Ψ t Ω ργ f;. Now, applyig operator L α,β,p o above iequality, we get L α,β,p f, f Ω ργ f;l α,β,p ν,γ 1 1 Ψ ; By usig the Cauchy-Schwartz iequality, we obtai Now, by 7.3, we get L α,β ν,γ Ψ,p ; { = 1 Ω ργ f; L α,β,p ν,γ;l α,β ν,γ Ψ,p ;. 7.3 L α,β,p } 1/2 { ν,γ 2 ; L α,β,p Ψ 2 ;} 1/2 { } 1/2 { 1/2 L α,β,p ν,γ; 2 L α,β,p Ψ 2 ;}. L α,β,p f, f L α,β,p ν,γ; 2 1 1 L α,β,p Ψ 2 ; Ω ργ f;. 8. Better approimatio It is well kow that the operators preserve costat as well as liear fuctios. To make the covergece faster, Kig [23] proposed a approach to modify the classical Berstei polyomials, so that this sequece preserves two test fuctios e 0 ad e 1. After this several researchers have studied that may approimatig operators L, possess these properties i.e. Le i, = e i where e i = i i = 0,1, for eamples Berstei, Baskakov ad Baskakov- Durrmeyer-Stacu operators. As the operators L α,β,p itroduced i 6.3 preserve oly the costat fuctios so further modificatio of these operators is proposed to be made so that the modified operators preserve the costat as well as liear fuctios, for this purpose the modificatio of L α,β,p as follows: where r = L α,β,p f, = p β α 1 p ad I = Lemma 6. For each I, we have L α,β,p b k,p r [ /A 0 αp βp,. 1, = 1, L α,β t, =,,p tα s k,p tf dt β L α,β,p t2, = 2 2p1pβ 2 pβ 2 3 2 4αp2α 2 p 2 p 2 β 2 2. 6 2 4αp pβ 2 10
Lemma 7. For I, the followig holds, µ 1,p = L α,β t, = 0,,p µ 2,p = L α,β,p t 2, = 2 2p1 6 pβ 2 2 2 4αp pβ 2 3 2 4αp2α 2 p 2 p 2 β 2. Theorem 10. Let f C B I ad I. The, there eist a absolute costat C > 0 such that,p f, f Cω 2 f, µ 2,p. L α,β Proof. Let g C B I ad,t I. By Taylor s epasio we have Applyig L α,β,p, we get Now, we have Sice L α,β gt = gt g t t ug udu. 8.1 t L α,β,p g, g = g L α,β,p t,l α,β,p t ug udu,. t g udu t 2 g, t,p f, f, L α,β L α,β,p g, g L α,β,p t 2, g = µ 2,p g.,p f, f,p f g, f g L α,β 2 f g µ 2,p g. Takig ifimum overall g C 2 I, we obtai,p f, f K 2 f, µ 2,p. L α,β L α,β,p g, g I view of 2.2, we have L α,β,p f, f Cω 2 f, µ 2,p, which proves the theorem. 9. q-baskakov-schurer-szász operator Let p,k, N,A > 0 ad f be a real valued cotiuous fuctio o the iterval [0,. I [15] Yüksel defied the q-baskakov-schurer-szász type liear positive operators as 11

Theorem 11. Let f be bouded ad itegrable o the iterval [0,. First ad secod derivatives of f eists at a fied poit [0, ad q = q 0,1 such that q = q 1 as, the lim [] [ q L q,p f, f ] = f f. Proof. I order to prove this idetity we use Taylor s epasio 1 ft f = t f t 2 2! f ξt, where ξ is bouded ad lim t 0 ξt = 0. Applyig L q,p to above, we obtai [] q [L q,p f, f] = f [] q L q,p t, [] q 2! f L q,p t 2,[] q L q,p ξt t 2, = [] q f α q,[] q 1 2 f q,[] q L q,p ξt t 2, where α q, ad q, defied as i remark 1 ad lemma 9. Usig Cauchy-Schwarz iequality, we have [] q L q,p ξt t 2, L q,pξt 2, [] 2 q Lq,pt 4,. 9.2 We observe that lim t ξ 2 t, = 0 it follows that lim []q [] q L q,p ξt t 2, = 0 Hece, lim [] q[l q,pf, f] [] q = lim f [] q L q,p t, [] q 2 f L q,p t 2,[] q L q,p ξt t 2, = f f,, 12
which completes the proof. Theorem 12. For q 0,1, the sequece {L q,p} coverges to f uiformly o [0,A], A > 0 for each f C 2 [0, if ad oly if lim q = 1. Proof. The proof is similar to the Theorem 2 i [24]. 10. Weighted statistical approimatio Our et cocer is the study of statistical covergece of the sequece of the q-baskakov-schurer-szász operators. Now, we recall the cocept of statistical covergece for sequeces of real umbers which was itroduced by Fast [25] ad further studied by may others. Let K N ad K = {j : j K}. The the atural desity of K is defied by K = lim 1 K if the limit eists, where K deotes the cardiality of the set K. A sequece = j j 1 of real umbers is said to be statistically coverget to L provided that for every ǫ > 0 the set {j N : j L ǫ} has atural desity zero, i.e. for each ǫ > 0, It is deoted by st lim = L. lim 1 {j : j L ǫ} = 0. We cosider a sequece q = q, q 0,1, such that lim q = 1. 10.1 The coditio 10.1 guaratees that [] q as. I [26] Doru ad Kaat defied the Katorovich-type modificatio of Lupaş operators as follows: R f;q; = [1] [k1] [1] [k] [1] ftd q t k q k q kk 1/2 k 1 k 1 q 1 q 1. 10.2 Doru ad Kaat [26] proved the followig statistical Korovki-type approimatio theorem for operators 10.2. Theorem 13. Let q := q, 0 < q < 1, be a sequece satisfyig the followig coditios: st lim q = 1, st lim q = a a < 1 ad st lim 1 [] q = 0, 10.3 the if f is ay mootoe icreasig fuctio defied o [0,1], for the positive liear operator R f;q;, the holds. st lim R f;q; f C[0,1] = 0 I [27] Doğru gave some eamples so that q is statistically coverget to 1 but it may ot coverget to 1 i the ordiary case. Theorem 14. Let L q,p be the sequece of the operators 9.1 ad the sequece q = q satisfies 10.3. The for ay fuctio f C[0,ν] C[0,, ν > 0, we have st lim L q,p f; f = 0, 10.4 where C[0,ν] deotes the space of all real bouded fuctios f which are cotiuous i [0,ν]. Proof. The proof is similar to Theorem 2 [10] with appropriate modificatios. So, we omit the details. 13
Theorem 15. Let L q,p be the sequece of the operators 9.1 ad the sequece q = q satisfies 10.3. The for ay fuctio f C B [0,, we have st lim Lq,p f;. f ρ = 0. Proof. By Lemma 8iii, we have L q,p t2 ; C 2, where C is a positive costat, L q,p f; is a sequece of positive liear operator actig from C ρ [0, to B ρ [0,. Usig L q,p1; = 1, it is clear that Now, by Lemma 8ii, we have Usig 10.3, we get the st lim L q,p 1; 1 ρ = 0. L q,p t; L q,p ρ = t; [0, 1 2 Fially, by Lemma8iii, we have st lim 1 q 2 q 2 1 q 2 q 2 [0, 1 = 0, q[p] q st lim L q,pt; ρ = 0. 1 2 1 q[p] q. L q,p f,t2 ;q ; 2 [p1]q 2 ρ q 6 1 [p] q [0, 1 2 12q q 2 q 5 [p] q [0, 1 2 1q q 3 [p] 2. q [p1]q 12q q 2 q 6 1 [p] q q 5 1q [p] q q 3 [p] 2. q Now, If we choose the by 10.3, we ca write [p1]q α = q 6 1, [p] q 12q q 2 β = q 5, [p] q γ = 1q q 3 [p] 2, q Now for give ǫ > 0, we defie the followig four sets: st lim α = 0 = st lim β = st lim γ. 10.5 S = {k : L q,p t2 ;q k ; 2 ρ ǫ}, S 1 = {k : α k ǫ 3 }, 14
It is obvious that S S 1 S 2 S 3. The, we obtai {k : L q,pt 2 ; 2 ρ ǫ} S 2 = {k : β k ǫ 3 }, S 3 = {k : γ k ǫ 3 }. {k : α k ǫ 3 } {k : β k ǫ 3 } {k : γ k ǫ 3 }. Usig 10.5, we get Sice st lim Lq,p t2 ; 2 ρ = 0. L q,p f; f ρ L q,p t2 ; 2 ρ L q,p t; ρ L q,p 1; 1 ρ, we get st lim Lq,p f; f ρ st lim Lq,p t2 ; 2 ρ st lim Lq,p t; ρ st lim Lq,p1; 1 ρ, which implies that This completes the proof of the theorem. st lim Lq,p f; f ρ = 0.
