CONFIRMING SOLUTIONS TO LINEAR EQUATIONS SOL A.1 Confirm algebraic solutions to equations using the functions of a graphing calculator. In an implicit equation, graph each side of the equation separately but on the same set of axes and find the coordinates of the point of intersection. In an explicit equation, graph the equation and find the x-intercept.
