Field not for public use. Permit required. 2. Only Maritime staff, faculty, students or approved personnel allowed on athletic fields at any time. 3. Individuals must be prepared to show Maritime College ID at any time. 4. Only field maintenance equipment and approved athletic equipment are permitted on the field. ANY OTHER EQUIPMENT REQUESTED MUST BE APPROVED BY JAKE SCOTT 5. All non-essential individuals are to leave the field during athletic team practices or competition. 6. Field hours reflect other facility hours of operation. 7. Athletics has the right to close the field at any time for maintenance or safety reasons. 8. No food, seeds or gum should be on the playing field area. 9. Gators must be driven on outside surface unless it is a life or death situation. 10. Ambulance access should be through the water side access ramp only. 11. Proper footwear should be worn at all times. NO BARE FEET. 12. No dogs allowed. 13. No climbing over fence. 14. No alcohol allowed. 15. No artificial noise makers are allowed (air horns, whistles, etc.) 16. No metal spiked footwear allowed on turf field. 17. Event directors must be the first to arrive and stay until last spectator has left. 18. To schedule field time please contact Jake Scott at jscott@sunymaritime.edu. Sports Medicine The Sports Medicine Department is located on the 2nd floor of Riesenberg Hall near the back of the building and the exits that lead to the turf field.

Pre-Game Needs: An Athletic Trainer will be on-site for all home athletic events and will be available for any pregame tapings/treatments 2 hours prior to competition. If your team is traveling without an Athletic Trainer, please provide a stocked medical kit. If any modalities other than moist heat and ice are needed, a physician s note with parameters is required. Please do not hesitate to call or email with specific instructions or notification of your team s needs ahead of time. Sideline supplies: Water, cups/bottles, injury ice, splints, crutches and AED will be available for all events. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. Also, you are reminded that consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products is prohibited. Tailgating Policy $50/ Vehicle Tailgating is only permitted and Lot 2 (S &E parking lot, first lot on the right entering campus) Tailgating lots open 3 hours prior to game time and close 2 hours after the game Contact Associate Athletic Director Laura Mooney at lmooney@sunymaritime.edu if you are interested in reserving a spot for specified events. Tailgating is a part of College athletics tradition. However, as a member of the NCAA Division III and in fostering a campus environment of responsible behavior, you are required to abide by the following policies. Failure to adhere to these policies will result in revoking your further tailgating privileges. New York State law mandates that 21 years old is the legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. It is illegal to serve alcohol to minors. NO alcohol will be served to any Maritime College student within the tailgate area within the tailgate area, regardless of their age. Persons registered to tailgate are responsible to ensure that no alcoholic beverages they bring onto the premises are passed to underage persons or a Maritime student. There are to be no shared containers in this tailgate area. Shared containers being defined as kegs or a container that serves more than 1 individual. Single cans, bottles and individual cups are not considered shared containers. ABSOLUTELY no alcoholic beverages are to be taken out of this tailgating area. There are no alcoholic beverages allowed inside the gym or the field gates. Failure to follow this policy will result in your removal from the premises. Persons registered to tailgate are responsible to remove all trash to appropriate receptacles. There is a NO visitor policy in effect in the residence halls during the sporting event. Grilling is permitted with propane tanks only.

Directions From Brooklyn or Queens: Via the Whitestone Bridge: Pay toll at extreme right booth, take immediate right exit to traffic light, turn right to next traffic light, turn right then left onto I-295. Keep to right and take EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) just before Throgs Neck Bridge. At EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) take left fork, make immediate right on to Harding Avenue. Proceed along Harding Avenue to stop sign. Turn left on Pennyfield Avenue to Maritime College gatehouse. From New Jersey Via George Washington Bridge: Garden State or N.J. Turnpike to New York and I-95 North, then follow signs to Throgs Neck Bridge to EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) before bridge. At EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) take left fork, make immediate right on to Harding Avenue. Proceed along Harding Avenue to stop sign. Turn left on Pennyfield Avenue to Maritime College gatehouse. From Upstate New York: 1. Tappan Zee Bridge, follow I-287, then South on Sprain Brook Parkway and Bronx River Parkway to I-95 North. Follow 295 South to Throgs Neck Bridge and take EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) just before bridge. At EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) take left fork, make immediate right on to Harding Avenue. Proceed along Harding Avenue to stop sign. Turn left on Pennyfield Avenue to Maritime College gatehouse. 2. Hutchinson River Parkway South to Bruckner Expressway Exit, I-95 South, (sharp right after overpass) then follow 295 South to Throgs Neck Bridge and take EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) on right just before bridge. Caution: You must cross three lanes in 300 yards. At EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) take left fork, then make immediate right on to Harding Avenue. Proceed along Harding Avenue to stop sign. Turn left on Pennyfield Avenue to Maritime College gatehouse. 3. From New England and New England Thruway I-95 South to the Bronx, then follow 295 South to Throgs Neck Bridge and take EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) on right just before bridge. Caution: You must cross three lanes in 300 yards. At EXIT 9 (Harding Ave/Fort Schuyler) take left fork, then make immediate right on to Harding Avenue. Proceed along Harding Avenue to stop sign. Turn left on Pennyfield Avenue to Maritime College gatehouse. From Long Island and Long Island Expressway:I-495 West on Long Island Expressway to either Cross Island Parkway or Clearview Expressway to I-295 North to Throgs Neck Bridge; take Pennyfield Avenue-Fort Schuyler exit immediately after far-right toll station. Proceed along service road to 2nd stop sign (2 blocks). Make left on to overpass to Pennyfield Avenue to Maritime College gatehouse. ** Parking for athletic events is located in lot 3. Bus parking is located on Crownshield St. See attached campus map for locations.
