OK Region RD Report Aug.l9,2012 Hi Everybody! So grateful to be able to give a report this OKRSC meeting! I apologize for not having a report last region. I thought It appropriate to let Cindi B. RDA give the report, since she attended the WSC. Since attending the last regional meeting, I have found more information from the WSC. The body did not vote to accept the proposals by a simple majority. That decision was made by the WB and Co-facilitators. The voting policy and procedures were established by NAWS and the WB. I believe this goes against a previously passed policy by a WSC body that the Resolutions for restructuring needed to pass by a 2/3 vote. More will be revealed I guess. I went to the USFA 3 in Milwauki, Wise. In June as the OK Region representative. I used a voting procedure that was used at the WSC present but not voting. I have included all the information that I have in your packets. Please pass along to your areas and groups! No restitution is needed because this was included in a personal trip taken by Sandi and I. There is still a great deal of discussion on the Service System Proposals. The presentation from NAWS is just that a presentation. I have included in your packets a powerpoint that gives the best available pros and cons for discussion by areas and groups. Tve heard it said that a good RD presents information and lets the body form the pros and cons. It has been my experience that a good RD provides ALL information and lets the fellowship make an informed discussion. This report is very long so please go through it thoroughly! In Loving Service Gary V. OKRD PS. I have also included a copy of NAWS NEWS
