BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE & SECONDARY EDUCATION, LAHORE. RESULT GAZETTE INTERMEDIATE PART I & II (ANNUAL) EXAMINATION, 2016 1. The Intermediate Part I & II (Annual) Examination, 2016 commenced on 07 th May, 2016. The Examination in theory papers culminated by 08 th June, 2016 whereas the practical Examination concluded on 22 nd July, 2016. 2. The result is being announced on 17 th September, 2016. 3. The result gazette is issued as a notice only, errors and omissions excepted. Any entry appearing in this notification does not itself confer any right or privilege to a candidate for the grant of certificate, which will be issued under the rules/regulations on the basis of the original record in the Board office. 4. The candidates, who have passed the examination, have been shown by mentioning the total number of marks obtained by them against their roll numbers/names in the result gazette. 5. The candidates against whose Roll Numbers and Names, abbreviations of certain subject/s have been mentioned, have failed in the said subject/s and are eligible to re-appear in the failing subject/s till such period as detailed below:- i) The candidates who appeared in full subjects in the Intermediate Part I & II (Annual) Examination, 2016, and failed in one or two subject/s have been allowed to re-appear in the failing subject/s, as the case may be, till Intermediate Part I & II (Supplementary) Examination, 2017. ii) The candidates who have failed in more than two subjects will have to appear in the next Intermediate Part I & II Examination in full subjects of both parts. 6. With the declaration of the result, the Result Cards bearing paper-wise marks and other essential information would be issued to the private candidates on the addresses given by them in their admission forms whereas the regular candidates will get their Result Cards from their respective institutions. 7. All enquiries regarding the result of the candidates may be addressed to Assistant Controller Examinations (Inter)/Phone No. 99200192-97,99200118 Ext. 205,206. 8. The candidates who have either been placed under compartment or have failed in the Intermediate Part I & II (Annual) Examination, 2016 would be allowed to deposit the admission form and fee for the Intermediate Part I & II (Supplementary) Examination, 2016, according to the schedule prescribed by the Board. IMPORTANT NOTE. (1) The candidates intending to apply for re-checking of their paper/s may apply Online within 15 days after declaration of the result. (2) The candidates intending to improve their grade or marks are allowed to appear in Part-I or Part-II or both or subject/s with one examination opportunity within two years of passing relevant examination in the same group / subjects in current/prevalent syllabus.
