INTRODUCTION Since 1980, Côte d Ivoire has been progressively emerging as a potential oil and gas producing country. With the recents discoveries in the deep offshore, the country is about to become a new petroleum province. This presentation highlights oil and gas exploration opportunities in Côte d Ivoire by focusing on some key prospects in the deepwater blocks.

CONTENTS INTRODUCING PETROCI OVERVIEW OF THE SEDIMENTARY BASIN E & P ACTIVITIES REVIEW EXPLORATION OPPORTUNITIES (open blocks) CONCLUSION

CREATION : INTRODUCING PETROCI National oil company founded on October 21 st, 1975. CAPITAL: More than US $ 40.000.000 OBJECTIVES : Hydrocarbon exploration and production; Promotion of oil & gas activities in the country Transportation, storage and commercialisation of hydrocarbons; Technical advisor to the government (PETROCI takes care of the government interests and is a key partner to international oil companies in the country). 4
