Visiting Penyengat Island Last September, I got a great chance to visit Penyengat Island. I went there with four friends from Jakarta. Penyengat Island is a small island near Tanjung Pinang, Kepulauan Riau. From Tanjung Pinang, we took a small machined boat, called pompong. We just had to pay six thousand rupiahs for each of us.
