1 OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES OVERVIEW A brand strategy was developed for Greenstone to position the Municipality to boost tourism, bring the communities together and improve residents overall morale. The brand positioning Nature s Home Town was approved to achieve this and it will be part of a wider re-brand of the Municipality s visual identity. Each of the 7 communities that form the Municipality of Greenstone are still very much focused on their own identity and name of the community. This new visual identity will position Greenstone as the secondary item to each community name.

1 OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES DELIVERABLES Design visual ID for the Municipality and communities (includes logos, stationery, business card, fleet vehicles & signage) Create visual ID guide for the Municipality of Greenstone Develop creative advertising templates for Greenstone Tourism

1 OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES OBJECTIVES A new visual identity will be created for the Municipality of Greenstone. This will include concept development and design based on the first round of creative developed with the Tourism Strategy. It will incorporate the brand positioning and nomenclature for each community.

3 DEFINING OUR IDENTITY A VISUAL IDENTITY IS A THOUGHTFULLY CRAFTED ECOSYSTEM OF DESIGN ELEMENTS THAT WORK TOGETHER TO TRUTHFULLY REFLECT OUR BRAND EXPERIENCE. THINK OF IT AS AN EQUATION WHERE YOUR BRAND STRATEGY IS THE ANSWER THAT YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE AND THE VISUAL ID IS THE FORMULA NEEDED TO ACHIEVE IT.

3 EXPLORATION: BRITISH COLUMBIA SUPER NATURAL BRITISH COLUMBIA THE FORMULA PERHAPS A LITTLE CLOSER TO HOME, BRITISH COLUMBIA AIMS TO REFLECT ITS SUPER NATURAL OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES. A TRIBAL TYPEFACE, EARTH TONE COLOURS, FOREST TEXTURES AND STUNNING PHOTOGRAPHY COMBINE TO CREATE A FAMILIAR BUT UNIQUE OUTDOOR BRAND FORMULA.

3 EXPLORATION: COURMAYER COURMAYEUR BY INTERBRAND THE FORMULA THE COURMAYEUR IDENTITY IS A CELEBRATION OF THEIR NATURAL VISTAS AND THE SENSE OF ADVENTURE THEIR AUDIENCE FEELS WITH SIMPLY THE SIGHT OF THEM. THE VISUAL FORMULA IS A LOGICAL COMBINATION OF BREATHTAKING PHOTOGRAPHY, TOPOGRAPHIC MOTIFS, A NATURE-INSPIRED COLOUR PALETTE AND AN UNCONVENTIONAL LOGO THAT ILLUSTRATES THEIR BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN RANGES WITHOUT BEING CLICHÉ.
