And residents report spotty performance, especially inside buildings. A random check of more than 10 businesses in the city found none using the CyberSpot wireless service exclusively, including city offices. The Chamber of Commerce also does not use the service exclusively.

City of Auburn Wireless Initiative Water Resource Management Water meters can be read daily Less demand for and on personnel Added value to citizens since water meter history becomes a valuable tool to demonstrate usage Anomalies can be identified quickly Work requests can be received and completed in the filed without having to return to the office Will have the wireless network as a communications asset in an emergency
