Principal's Report Sport It was the first day of the Summer Round Robin on Friday and it was so good to see all the students leaving for their events in the sunshine. Our students came back to school full of stories about the fun they had. We had mixed results but students all had a fun time and demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship. Welcome Ms Edgley This week we welcomed our new PE teacher. Fiona (Fi) Edgley is teaching PE on a Tuesday and Wednesday. She is an experienced PE teacher who will bring expertise to the role. Please make her feel welcome. Forest Hill Rotary Speech Competition Last Wednesday evening Faith and Mehak represented Parkmore at the annual Rotary Speech Competition. Faith spoke about Dian Fosey, someone she admired and Mehak spoke about accepting yourself for who you are. Both girls spoke exceptionally well and were a credit to the school. Well done girls. The resource is also available in Arabic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Punjabi, Chin, Dari and Persian on the website. https://www.education.vic.gov.au/documents/school/teachers/teachingresources/discipline/english/literacy/literacyandnumeracy TipstoHelpYourChild_Final.pdf Trivia Night Don t forget to get your friends together for our annual Trivia Night.
