To the Learner You have just learned how to interpret weather reports in the previous module. Applying your knowledge is very important to help you in deciding what proper activities you are going to do in a particular day. This lesson helps you how to apply the knowledge in interpreting weather report so that you can prepare any activities as the weather changes. We do outdoor activities only if the weather is fine. Playing basketball or other sport activities, attending festivals and going on excursions are done during fair weather. 150

In school we enjoy playing outdoors on fine weather. Field trips, hiking and camping are also done when the weather is fine. We also like to be forewarned about weather conditions early enough so that we will be prepared for it. If the forecast says there will be rainshowers, then we bring our umbrellas or raincoats. We may put off making long trips because it is dangerous to travel during rainy weather. In case of rainy or stormy weather we are advised to stay home and take necessary precautions. We should protect ourselves during bad weather so that we will not get sick. We should also wear clothes suited to the kind of weather condition to protect ourselves. Do you listen to the early news about weather everyday? Some people do and cannot leave the house even if they have important things to do during that day. Find out why.- A. Read the dialogue below. Let s Remember This it is necessary to be aware of the weather conditions for the day for our own safety. it is also good to prepare for it. there are activities which are best to do in each kind of weather.
