Visitors never come to her home, but one day animals start coming to visit. I wonder why the animals start coming to visit. Let s read and find out. Page # Events Page # Previous Event/Explanation 4 I m noticing that it is so cold that the ocean is frozen solid and Immi can walk on it. She has to cut a hole in the ice to be able to fish. She lives far from any stores, so she has to fish to get food. 8 I m noticing that the world above the ice is not very colorful-it s white and gray. Under the ice there are many bright colors! 10 Look at Immi s collection, or group of wonders, or special things! She caught so many bright things

when she was fishing and she has put them all over her igloo. 12 Look how many animals are coming to visit Immi s igloo! 24 Look! Immi s white bear looks really different than all the other bright things on the beach. 2 Remember how Immi caught an extra fish just in case, but hardly anyone came to visit her. Maybe nobody visited her before because Immi s igloo, or house, blended into the snowy background. No one could see it. Now that it is bright, it attracts everybody- they all want to come and see it. 20 Remember when Immi threw her bear into the ocean. She didn t know what would happen to it, but now I see that the little boy found it. It must have floated faraway from Immi s cold part of the ocean to this warm part of the ocean. 24 Wow! The colorful bird used to belong to this little boy! 21 I m thinking that the ocean is full of beautiful, bright things. The ocean brings Immi lots of gifts, and one day the little boy s wooden bird shows up near her fishing hole! He didn t know his wonder, or special thing, might end up so faraway.
