"#$ " # %& The Status of HDs (heads of departments) Professional Ethics: An Investigation at Shahid Chamran Universtiy of Ahvaz 95/09/14 :()!. 95/07/05:() +,. Seyed Abbas Razavi Hossein Elhampour Ehsan Berkehbad Abstract: Nowadays, Professional ethics is one of the factors in the success of any organization and is known as a competitive advantage. The purpose of the present research is to investigate the status of heads of departments (HDs) in term of professional ethics. The population of the research was HDs (N=50), faculty members (N=554), and graduate students (N=2586). All HDs were involved in the research (n=50). But faculty members and graduate students were selected using stratified sampling method (n=234, n=335). The study was generally descriptive and specially survey. Cadozier questionnaire was used to collect data (α=0.83). Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the collected data. Data analysis was performed in SPSS V.22 using on sample ttest and oneway Analysis of Variance (ANVA). Results indicated that the status of professional ethics is desirable and above it. But differences were observed among HDs (Heads of Departments), faculty members, and students' point of view. Keywords: Ethics, Professional ethics, Managers ethics, Higher education, Heads of departments. # 678 #,9( :;!< ; 51 1 6 413 21+,./01 :=& 71 8+,91,: ;,1 4 7<+?@A B1 C@. 80 83: 7 = 2@,9 41, 21+,./01 7DE 1 @9 D.71 1@1 41,F GH1 7K@ 2L1 (,N 50),9 41, ; 2 6; P/QR; 4H1 (,N 554) 2L1 1,N 234 1D; B1 1.3 (,N 2586) P/QR; 4H1 1,N 335 7K@.
