INTRODUCTION Hello and welcome to Milton Black s horoscopes 2013. As you read this book you ll probably be asking yourself the question: Is this year going to be a better one than last year? Well, the answer to that, my friends, is entirely up to you. The continuing depressed global economic situation coupled with the strange and unusual Cosmos period through which we are travelling will certainly make many of us a little over-cautious as we work and save to achieve all that we wish for. The past four years have been extremely difficult for many of us mainly because of the unusual change of planetary aspects that have occurred. In some cases we will never see such planetary changes again in our lifetimes. The planet Uranus (planet of unusual change), now travelling through Aries (the industrial sign of the zodiac) will continue until March 2019. It takes the planet Uranus approximately 84 years to transit the whole of the global horoscope and during its transit it spends approximately 7 years in each Zodiac sign. The majority of us will never have experienced the full effects of Uranus in Aries before, hence the sudden and unexpected changes that appear to be around us. Furthermore, the planet Pluto continues to reshape the global horoscope with powerful economic leverage as it transits the financial and business sign of Capricorn. The last time Pluto was in this sign was in 1742: it takes around 248 years to transit the global horoscope. To astrologers, Pluto is the planet of destruction and rebuilding, which means getting rid of the old and starting anew. Political upheavals; the downfall of dictators around the world; the collapse and rebuilding of global banking and economies; stock market crashes and adjustments; manufacturing difficulties through loss of markets and profits; increased unemployment; a depressed real estate market; and an escalation of gold, silver and oil prices are all examples of this. Astrologically the main reason for this continuing downturn is due to two major eclipses; the first is due on May 10th, and the second on November 3rd. Both eclipses will be in the financial sectors of the global horoscope. Investors would be well advised, astrologically speaking, to watch their investments very carefully throughout 2013 as many losses are forecast especially in the months of February, March, April, May, June, August, September, October and November, with the most significant months being May through to the end of November.
