Recently, I have focused mostly on single M5-brane theories. In particular, I am interested in constructing alternative actions which give the expected dynamics and symmetries of a single M5-brane. The techniques that I learned in the process are useful for the study of duality-symmetric models, which are in many aspects related to a single M5-brane. I have found that my research and insights have greatly been benefited from my recent readings on differential geometry, Hamiltonian analysis of constrained systems, and on Green s function. I would like to read more and looking forward to see more applications of these topics in my future researches, and to see how they would lead me to broaden my research interests and skills.
