Uncompromising flexibility rapid-t is developed and supported by Astoria-Pacific. This software program optimizes the ChemWell-T s advanced hardware and performance (see page 4). Operators can program their colorimetric applications into rapid-t s easy-to-use method setup and configurations. Because of rapid-t s open platform, operators can also adapt their system to use assay kits for Water, Wine, Food and other analyses from several manufacturers (e.g. Megazyme, Bio-Rad, Thermo Scientific, NZYTech, Nitrate Elimination Company, etc.) Examples of programmable applications in Astoria-Pacific s popular industries: Wine Environmental Ammonia Cyanide, Post-Dist. Hexavalent Chromium Nitrate by Hydrazine reduction Nitrate by Enzymatic reduction Nitrite Orthophosphate Phenol, Post-Dist. Total Kjeldhal Nitrogen Total Phosphorus Etc. Etc. Etc. Acetic Acid Ammonia Glucose + Fructose L-Malic Acid NOPA Total Sulfite Etc. Etc. Etc. NOTE: Again, if you have an endpoint colorimetric test you want to run, go ahead and run it on the ChemWell-T with rapid-t! Figure 2. Calibration Curve Figure 2-3. Calibration The operator can have the system prepare Calibrants from a single stock standard or run Calibrants prepared in the lab. 1 st Order or Polynomial curves can be selected for fit. Bad points can be dropped if necessary for research purposes Figure 3. Calibration Setup Figures 4-9. Test Selection, Method Parameters and Method Setup Windows Test configurations are easily selected with a dropdown menu. Configurations can be renamed as a copy if a slight variation of the test needs to be made for a special application rapid-t makes test/method setup very user-friendly, allowing the operator to make quick adjustments to current tests and/or to make tests from scratch. Method Parameters, including Method Definitions (e.g. test parameters defining sample/reagent volumes and incubation times), Dilution and QC properties, and general default info, are accessible with selection tabs via the Primary Edit Method Window. The operator can then program rapid for his/her specific needs. Figure 4. Test Selection menu Figure 6. Dilution/QC Properties Figure 8. Test/Method Edit Figure 5. General Method Parameters Figure 7. Unprecedented Flexibility The ChemWell-T is designed and manufactured by Awareness Technology and Distributed by Astoria-Pacific, both American companies that have specialized in supplying laboratory instruments to laboratories around the world. The ChemWell-T is not a junior or mini version of a high throughput analyzer. Instead it is a PC-controlled, random-access sampling system optimized in quality, speed, dependability, and price. Cuvettes with working volume up to 500 µl 5-well strips with 10mm path length Are easy to load and unload Reaction temperature: From ambient to 40⁰C Starter quantity for 6500 tests included in order Widely used throughout the industry Maximum throughput 100 tests per hour Cuvettes automatically glide through optical system for endpoint and, if needed, kinetic reading (via ChemWell Manager/Assay software) 8 strips of 5 cuvettes each allows 40 reactions without intervention PAUSE feature allows operator to add more cuvettes during the run Multi-Function Probe delivers 2 µl to 450 µl Typical precision of 2% CV or better Oscillates to mix Detects liquid surface Measures remaining volume Retracts safely if probe contacts an obstacle Washes automatically ChemWell Manager/Assay software For additional system diagnostics, kinetic rate reaction tests and turbidimetric tests USB connection System check feature at power-up Constant internal monitoring with automatic system checks and error messages Option to check and confirm clean cuvettes PASSWORD security system Pop-up instructions assure correct setup Flexible universal rack configurations ONE YEAR WARRANTY ASTORIA-PACIFIC T. 800-536-3111 / 503-657-3010 F. 503-655-7367 sales@astoria-pacific.com www.astoria-pacific.com Page 4 of 5
