NuSTAR AGN Physics: the importance of spectral shape Spin alters shape of Fe K line and Compton hump in predictable, measurable ways. Shape of Comptonized con6nuum determined by kt, τ of coronal plasma. We know that E cut ~ 3kT, so measuring E cut helps break degeneracy. kt = 50 kev kt = 100 kev kt = 150 kev 17

Baseline Science Mission As typical for an Explorer, all baseline observa6ons led by the science team mixture of Level 1 and Priority A targets (with fair amount of margin in reserve) Aber the current ini6al calibra6on period is completed, observa6ons will go public through HEASARC two months aber a data set is completed (next data release will be Oct. 31 st ) 1.5 Ms of NuSTAR to be made available for coordinated observa6ons with next XMM AO (factor 6 oversubscrip6on) A paper a week is being submited by now, for a complete list of accepted/published paper: htp://www.nustar.caltech.edu/for- astronomers/publica6ons/refereed- papers ~140- person interna6onal science team broken into 13 science working groups: 20
