Each number is a factor of itself. All numbers are factors of Zero except Zero. The largest factor of any number is the number itself. One is the only number that has one factor. The Circle The circle is a closed curve, all the points on it having the same distance from a fixed point The fixed point is called the Centre of the circle We denote (name) the circle by its Centre, we say the circle M when its Centre point is M The radius of the circle ( r ): The radius is the line segment which joins any point lying on the circle to its Centre. ( all radii are equal in length ) The chord of the circle :The chord is the line segment that joins two points on the circle The diameter of the circle (d): The diameter is a line segment that passes through the Centre of the circle and joining two points on a circle.
