sigsauer.com INTRODUCTION Congratulations on the purchase of your ROMEO6 Full Size Red Dot Sight. The ROMEO6 family of red dot sights are the most advanced in their category. The ROMEO6 features our innovative quad reticle system that lets you choose from a dot, circle dot, dot with holds, or circle dot with holds. The ROMEO6 features a bright and ultra low parallax red dot allowing greater situational awareness to shoot with both eyes open. Your ROMEO6 features MOTAC which will extend your runtime beyond 50,000 hours of normal use. The ROMEO6T features a solar cell along with 2 super capacitors. This allows for up to 9 hours of battery free runtime on a full charge. The sight also uses a battery for a backup. Runtimes approaching 100,000 hours under normal inside/outside use. The ROMEO6 Full Size Red Dot Sight includes a mount, lens covers, adjustment tool, battery, and operating instructions. The ROMEO6 is covered by SIG SAUER Electro-Optics Infinite Guarantee and SIG SAUER Electronic & Tritium Component Limited 5-Year Warranty. 3

W WARNING Before working on your ROMEO6 sight always ensure that the firearm is unloaded with the safety on. OPERATION ROMEO6 Installing the battery The battery compartment is located on the bottom left side of the sight. Using the supplied torx tool, remove the battery tray by rotating the 2 torx screws in the counter-clockwise (CCW) direction. Remove the tray with the supplied battery removal tool. Insert the CR2032 coin cell battery negative (-) contact facing up; positive (+) contact should be facing down. Reinstall the battery tray by inserting it into the housing. The Tray should snap into place when seated properly. Check to make sure the sight can be turned on and off before reinstalling the 2 Torx screws. Using the provided tool, reinstall the 2 torx screws by rotating them in a clockwise (CW) direction until finger tight. DO NOT exceed 13 in/lbs. 10
sigsauer.com Turning Sight On and Off / Illumination Control The Illumination control is located on the left side of the sight. Press and hold either the (+) or (-) button for more than 1 second to turn the sight on. To turn the sight off press and hold either the (+) or (-) button for more than 1 second. To toggle between the different reticle options, press and hold both the (+) and (-) buttons until the reticle changes. The sight features MOTAC and will automatically turn off after 120 seconds of nonuse. As soon as the sight sense motion it will automatically power back on to the current setting. The sight has 12 illumination settings, 10 daylight, 2 NV. 11
MOUNTING THE SIGHT ROMEO6 sights have a 1/2 hex bolt 1.53 high mount. This mount is designed to be used with MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny Rails or Weaver style rails. Loosen the hex bolt and place the sight on the rail. Slight the sight forward until the integrated lug contacts the rail you are mounting it on. Tighten the ½ hex bolt to 65 in/lbs. 12
sigsauer.com SIGHT ADJUSTMENTS Windage and elevation adjustments are located on the rear top and rear right of the sight. The windage adjustment cap can be used to make adjustments on both the elevation and windage dials. Elevation adjustments the elevation adjustment is on the top of your sight. To raise your point of impact turn the adjustment counter-clockwise (CCW). Each click is equal to 0.5 MOA. To lower the point of impact turn the adjustment clockwise (CW). Windage Adjustments the windage adjustment is on the right side of your sight. To shift your point of impact to the right, turn the adjustment CCW. Each click is equal to 0.5 MOA. MAINTENANCE Cleaning Keep your lenses clear by using a soft cloth or lens pen. The best way to maintain image quality is by keeping your lenses clear of dirt and dust that cause scratches. Always use your flip backs to ensure that the sight optics remain scratch free.
