What follows is a summary of these outcomes. Results were aggregated for both online and residential learning platforms. The lumni survey data is collected every other year, and was not collected this year. The following is a description of improvements that will be a focus of the DOGC in 2018-2019: The assessment criteria for faculty supervisors under program goals 5, 6, and 12 will be changed to accurately reflect the language of the evaluation. During the 2018-2019 self-study process, the assessment sources and criteria will be reviewed to determine how well these measure our program goals and whether any changes should be implemented. Twelve of the sixteen program goals were achieved based on all methods of assessment. This is a significant improvement from the previous year when 7 of the 16

program goals were achieved. The DOGC faculty will develop a plan for consistency in reaching standards of excellence across all program goals. In 2016-2017 the DOGC piloted new, more rigorous cutoff for passing the CPCE exit exam. Cutoff were raised from 1 standard deviation below the national mean score to.5 standard deviation below the national mean score to reflect the program s mission and biblical call to strive for excellence in educating counselors. Since that time, students have generally been successful meeting the higher cutoff. Faculty will evaluate content areas of the CPCE with lower student pass rates and make recommendations for improving student content knowledge and preparation for this exit exam. Faculty will participate in peer review of courses to give feedback and recommendations for improving student knowledge and skills. Students are generally viewed by faculty to be technologically proficient. However, students identify themselves as less proficient in computer applications. This assessment criteria will be examined to determine whether it accurately reflects student identities, and what programmatic changes can help support students with technology.
