First method, we introduce a function that is related to Riemann zeta function, which complex zeros is identical to non-trivial zeros of zeta function, can be determined by the mean value theorem of integrals. However, we proved that all non-trivial zeros of zeta function lies on the critical line. Second method, we researched Riemann zeta function its integral form, combining the mean value theorem of integrals, proved that all non-trivial zeros of zeta function lies on the critical line. Riemann Hypothesis is true. Keywords Riemann Hypothesis Riemann zeta function Mathematics Subject Classification ) M6 Introduction Riemann Hypothesis is a conjecture about the zeros of Riemann Zeta function, which was proposed by the mathematician Riemann [] in his famous paper on the number of primes less than a given magnitude in 859. The Riemann hypothesis together with goldbach conjecture twin prime number conjecture, constitute the eighth problem in Hilbert s list of 3 unsolved problems. It s also one of Clay Mathematics Institutes the millennium prize problems. The Riemann Zeta function is defined as a complex series ζs) = n s,res) > ) ) n= J. Jinzhu Han Euler first studied this function in 737 got his famous identity p s ),s > ) ) n=n s = p The zeta function has analytic continuation to the whole complex plane, except a simple pole at s =, satisfies the function equation π s/ Γs/)ζs) = π s)/ Γ s/)ζ s) 3) where Γs) is Gamma-function; the zeta function has many real zeros at s =, 4,... infinitely many complex zeros i.e., non-trivial zeros) in the range < Res) < ; the non-trivial zeros of zeta function are symmetrical on the real axis the critical line Res) = ; the number of non-trivial zeros of zeta function in the range of < Ims) < T is approximately equal to T π log T π ) T +OlogT) 4) π In his famous paper, Riemann conjectured that all non-trivial zeros of zeta function are very likely to lie on the critical line Res) =. This proposition is called Riemann Hypothesis. Riemann Hypothesis: All non-trivial zeros of zeta function lie on the criticle line. Gram 93) used the Euler-Maclaurin summation method to calculate the first 5 non-trivial zeros of the function. Since then hundreds of millions of non- trivial zeros of the function have been calculated found to be lie on the critical line. Mathematicians have made many important advance in the study of Riemann Hypothesis in the past [-5]. However, Riemann Hypothesis has not been proved or disproved up to now. In this paper, we will prove Riemann Hypothesis by the mean value theorem of integrals. The meam value theorem of integrals The mean value theorem of integrals is one of the fundamental theorems of mathematical analysis. Theorem.let the function fx) the function gx) be continuous on the closed interval [a, b], the sign of function gx) be invariant on upper interval[a,b], there be least one pointη in the integral interval [a,b], which makes the following formula true b a fx)gx)dx = fη) b a gx)dx 5)
Proof of the Riemann Hypothesis 3 3 Proof of Riemann Hypothesis In this article, we will use two methods to prove following theorem that is equivalent to Riemann Hypothesis. Theorem.let ρ = α+iβ be anyone non-trivial zero of zeta function, then its real part be equal to. First method It is well known, the following series is convergent s)) ζs) = s +3 s 4 s +,Res) > ) 6) that is related to Riemann zeta function, which complex zeros are identical to the non-trivial zeros of zeta function in region < Res) <. According to Euler integral formula we have Fs) = Γs) n s = e nx x s ) dx,res) > ) 7) e x + = e x e x +e 3x +,x > ) 8) s)) x s ) Γs)ζs) = e x dx, < Res) < ) 9) + It is clearly, the function Fs) is also related to Riemann zeta function, which complex zeros are also identical to the non-trivial zeros of zeta function in region < Res) <, are symmetrical on the real axis the critical line Res) =.We can calculate a special value of function Fs), F ) = ) πζ ) = x ) e x dx ) + The function Fs) can be also written as Fs) = fx)gx)dx, < Res) < ) ) where fx) = x s ), < Res) < ) ) ) gx) = x e x, < Res) < ) 3) + The function fx) gx) are all continues on interval [, ], gx)
4 Jinzhu Han on interval [, ], according to Theorem, there be least one point u make the following equation to be true Fs) = u s ) x ) e x + dx = F )us ), < Res) < ) 4) Let ρ = α+iβ be anyone of the non-trivial zero of zeta function, then there be least one point u, such that Fρ) = F )uρ ) =, < Reρ) < ) 5) F ρ) = F )u ρ) =, < Reρ) < ) 6) Combining Eq.5) Eq.6), we have Fρ) = F ρ) =, < Reρ) < ) 7) u ρ ) = u ρ) =, < Reρ) <,u ) 8) The Eq.8) have only one solutionreρ) =, u = δ δ is an arbitrary small positive number δ ). Namely, let ρ = α+iβ be anyone of the nontrivial zero of zeta function, then its real part must be equal to. Theorem is proved. Second method The zeta function can be represent as integral form for different regions [6] ζs) = Γs) Similarly, we have ζs) = Γs) x s e x dx,res) > ) 9) e x x )xs ) dx, < Res) < ) ) ζ ) = π e x x )x ) dx ) According to Theorem, there be least one pointv make the following equation to be true ζs) = vs ) Γs) e x x )x ) dx = vs Γs) ) πζ ), < Res) < ) ) Let ρ = α+iβ be anyone of the non-trivial zero of zeta function, then there be least one point v, such that ζρ) = vρ ) Γρ) πζ ) =, < Reρ) < ) 3)
Proof of the Riemann Hypothesis 5 ζ ρ) = v ρ) πζ ) =, < Reρ) < ) 4) Γ ρ) Therefore, we have similar equation v ρ ) Γρ) = v ρ) =, < Reρ) <,v ) 5) Γ ρ) v ρ ) = v ρ) =, < Reρ) <,v ) 6) The Eq.6) has similar only one solutionreρ) =, v = δ δ is a arbitrary small positive number δ ). Namely, let ρ = α+iβ be anyone of the non-trivial zero of zeta function, then its real part must be equal to. This is another method to prove Theorem. However, we prove that all non-trivial zeros of zeta function have real part equal to. Namely, we prove that all non-trivial zeros of zeta function lie on the critical line, Riemann Hypothesis is true. References. B.
