CHEM 423W: Chemical Spectroscopy Modern methods and instruments of spectroscopy and their applications to problems of chemical structure and analysis. CHEM 427W: Forensic Chemistry Analytical and instrumental methods used in the forensic sciences with special emphasis on the analysis and characterization of trace evidence. Externships a temporary training program in a workplace, especially one offered to students as part of a course of study (couple of days long). Co-op is a type of internship program that enables college students to receive career training with pay as they work with professionals in their major fields of study (typically 2 semesters long).
