Using NASA s Hubble and Kepler space telescopes, astronomers have uncovered tantalizing evidence of what could be the first discovery of a moon orbiting a planet outside our solar system. This moon candidate, which is 8,000 lightyears from Earth in the Cygnus constellation, orbits a gas-giant planet that, in turn, orbits a star called Kepler-1625. It is a large gaseous world the size of Neptune with a diameter of 49000 km. The largest moon of Solar System is Jupiter's moon Ganymede, which has a diameter of about 5,260 km.

The proposed 500,000-barrel per day refinery is estimated to be completed with an investment of about USD 8 to 9 billion. The refinery will be set up at Gwadar, a coastal town on the Arabian Sea where China built a deep seaport under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. The agreement for refinery will be signed between the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) and Saudi government owned-aramco. Pakistan also offered Saudi delegation to participate in the USD 2 billion North-South Gas Pipeline. The 1,100 kilometre North-South Gas Pipeline being is built with the help of Russia. It will have a capacity of 12.4 billion cubic metre per annum and will connect Karachi's liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals with those in Lahore.

The Cigarette Package Health Warnings: International Status Report was released recently by the Canadian Cancer Society which documents global progress on plain packaging. It has ranked 206 countries and territories on the size of their health warnings on cigarette packages, and lists countries and territories that require graphic picture warnings. Key Highlights East Timor is ranked first with 85% of the front and 100% of the back of the packaging being used for pictorial warnings. Nepal follows with 90% coverage on both sides. Indian packaging has the warning on 85% of both sides. Canada was the first to insist on picture health warnings in 2001. India is the only SAARC country to have a Quit-Line number on tobacco products and the fourth in Asia after Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
