Best-in-Class Multi-Survey Seismic Interpretation The Paradigm leading-edge interpretation system, available on Windows and Linux platforms, enables users to bring together such diverse data types as pre- and post-stack seismic (2D & 3D), well log and completion data, satellite imagery, cultural data and EMderived solutions in order to optimally interpret the structure and stratigraphy of your exploration or development area. Highlights of this package include: The industry s leading horizon autotracker for 2D and 3D data Sophisticated fault interpretation technologies Advanced seismic attribute visualisation Seismic crossplotting and volume marking Multi-horizon volume flattening and stratal slicing Optical stacking of 2D and 3D seismic data Simple-to-use yet highly extensible well synthetic modelling and calibration Time-depth conversion of interpretations and seismic Professional quality map generation Enabled by the Paradigm Epos infrastructure and central database, these workflows can be further extended into the pre-stack domain, to seismic attribute generation, seismic facies analysis, geobody extraction, and planning of drillable wells. Featured Technology: SeisEarth Advanced Well Correlation and Geological Interpretation Correlating wells is a critical component of a broader geological interpretation workflow, for stratigraphic framework development in the early stages of basin exploration, through to high-resolution TST, fairway and sweet-spot mapping in mature plays. In particular for mature plays with large numbers of wells and limited or poor quality seismic, a robust and fit-for-purpose correlation tool is essential for generating structure and property maps from an easily managed, access-controlled, well database. We will take you through an integrated workflow that uses geophysical, geological and petrophysical data to aid in the decisionmaking process, and demonstrate an integrated approach to performing geologic interpretation where markers and interpretations update across applications in real time. Are you a production geologist who needs to display your production, log, seismic, and interpretations in 2D or 3D view at the same time? Have you recently acquired microseismic and want to visualize it with pump rates and pressure to maximize your well placement strategy? See firsthand how Paradigm well correlation software can help you work in a collaborative environment.

Unfortunately, in environments containing Y faults or oblique faults, pillar-based construction requires modifications of the fault geometry and/or their removal from the model, causing a critical mismatch between the interpretation and the structural/reservoir model. The Paradigm subsurface modelling solution is based on patented technology that uses horizons as geochronologic surfaces. Working with a paleogeographically correct mesh, geoscientists can easily model geobodies, reservoir properties and other attributes in their true depositional habit without distortion to or by the current geometry or paleo-geometry. This technology streamlines the creation of consistent structural and stratigraphic models without the need to simplify the fault network and/or stratigraphic elements. The results are models that allow you to better understand your reservoir and quickly generate geologically robust static and dynamic volumes for both prospect analysis and field development. Save time in the prospect generation process and seismic-to-simulation workflow by using a single model for all steps in the asset cycle. Enable rapid modelling while honouring all available data, retaining the complexity of the actual subsurface, without compromise. Improve the quality of interpretation and prospect maps, resulting in higher confidence in prospective wells. Incorporate uncertainty in data and interpretations. Direct two-way connectivity to industry-standard simulators for interactive history matching against time-stamped production data. Reduce time to first oil or gas by using a more realistic reservoir model. Featured technology: SKUA
Deeper Insight into Coal Seam Gas Plays through Multi-disciplinary Workflows Paradigm is the developer of the oil and gas industry s most widely used petrophysical and well data analysis package, built by a team of dedicated programmers in Brisbane. The well data loaded and created in this package is immediately accessible through the shared Epos infrastructure by interpreters and modelers using the applications described in previous presentations. This presentation will show how to perform complete Formation Evaluation workflows on Coal Seam Gas (CSG) plays, starting from calculating the net pay; determining mineral and fluid characteristics and volumes from petrophysical data such as logs, cores, XRD and petrographic data; identifying present day coal cleat and fracture propagation tendency for development planning and Frac programs, based on the processing of cross-dipole sonic data and the analysis of borehole images. We will discuss the modelling of core data to identify relationships between gas content and density, and Maceral content and isotherm data; and illustrate how to extrapolate this information to un-cored wells or intervals using our facies analysis toolkit. Rapid loading, QC and processing of well data, regardless of wireline vendor, means that your geologists will be more than able to keep pace with your drillers, and be better equipped to help guide your development campaign to the sweet spots in your field. The deliverables from the well data analysis can be used to enable well correlation, guide seismic and non-seismic structural tank generation, and ultimately lead to the development of fully populated reservoir models and direct two-way connection to third-party reservoir simulators.
