Participation grades tend to suffer if a student continues to make the same mistakes in a rehearsal from day to day. If we waste time because you don t learn your p a r t, w e a l l s u f f e r. LESSONS: Choir students are NOT required to attend lessons as part of their quarter grade. Signing up for lessons is optional. Choir students may sign up to attend as many o r a s f e w a s t h e y w i s h, i f t h e y n e e d h e l p w i t h a c h a l l e n g e i n t h e i r m u s i c. S t u d e n t s w h o h a v e a t t e n d e d e n o u g h o p t i o n a l l e s s o n s w i l l e a r n a r e w a r d a t t h e e n d o f t h e y e a r f o r t h e i r e x t r a w o r k. C h o i r s t u d e n t s may be instructed to sign up for a lesson if they are not showing s u f f i c i e n t p r o g r e s s i n d a i l y r e h e a r s a l s.
