General The is a compact atomic absorption spectrometer with deuterium background correction (D2-HCL) for the analysis of liquid samples by means of flame technique, graphite furnace technique, hydride- and HydrEA technique. The manual atomizer exchange with automatic adjustment of the atomizer position allows a quick and easy change between flame and graphite furnace technique. With its ease of handling, excellent robustness and high cost effectiveness, it is well suited for use in routine analysis and provides accurate measurement results, fast and reliably. Optics The optical system is mounted on a compact base plate for stability and robustness, as well as protection against humidity and lab atmosphere. It comes with light-proof encapsulation and coated reflective optics and optional purge function for purging the system with purified air or argon for improved UV transmission and operation in harsh environment (combined with the AIR Purge KIT APK). Spectrometer design Double-beam design with beam splitter and rotating sector mirror for coupling in the reference beam path Quartz-coated mirror optics for high light yield and baseline stability Absorption and emission modes are available Si hybrid receiver S 12749 Modified high-performance Czerny Turner monochromator with a flat holographic grating with 1800 lines / mm and automatic adjustment of wavelength and slit width Wavelength range 185-900 nm Automatic slit selection 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 0.8, 1.2 nm Detector UV-sensitive wide-range photomultiplier Lamp Use of coded hollow cathode lamps, available for 68 elements for element determination by means of line radiation in the UV/Vis range Use of uncoded lamps is possible PC-controlled 8-fold lamp changer for fully automatic operation with a read / write unit (RFID) for the use of coded lamps Cpt : +27 (0) 21 905 0476 Jhb : +27 (0) 11 794 2105 Dbn : +27 (0) 31 266 2454 2/7
