Telling time five minute intervals past the hour It takes 5 minutes for the minute hand to move from one number to the next. The time shown on this clock is 0 minutes past 6. Telling time digital Digital time is always read as minutes past the hour. Measuring time time trails Elapsed time is how much time has passed between different times.
