INFORMATION MEMORANDUM COPPER AND GOLD EXPLORATION AT EL 2356 - MULLER RANGE PAPUA NEW GUINEA By: Peter McNeil M.Sc., July 2016 Frntier is targeting intrusive/ epithermal related gld depsits and cpper- gld -mlybdenum prphyries in the Papuan Fld Belt n the gelgically yung and highly prspective suthern fall f the muntainus spine f PNG. Frntier wns the Bulag and alng strike Muller Explratin Licences plus all required equipment t run its wn explratin prgrams, including 4 drill rigs, bulldzers, crawlers and trucks. The Fld Belt cnatins the Ok Tedi prphyry cpper-gld Mine (lcated 80km WNW), Prgera intrusive/ epithermal related gld Mine (120km east) and Kili Teke prphyry cpper-gld Depsit (50km east). The giant Grasberg prphyry cppergld +skarns is in this same zne in West Papua. Drilling is strngly warranted and explratin t capitalise n the increased US dllar gld price and leveraged Australian dllar - PNG Kina will include drilling the Tingi and Baia prphyry targets. The EL is nw being reduced t 3 nn-cntiguus blcks with 56 sub-blcks cvering 187Km 2, Muller EL is lcated in the highly gelgically Prspective Fld/Thrust Belt f PNG, alng strike frm the Ok Tedi Mine and Frntier's Bulag Prject. The areas are relatively clse t infrastructure such as the Hides Pwer Statin and rads. The primary targets are shallw buried prphyry cppermlybdenum- gld mineralisatin, higher grade skarns and epithermal gld. The EL cntains (NW t SE): Tw knwn drill ready prphyry ccurrences at Tingi and Baia (never drilled). A pssible high sulphidatin/ intrusive related gld Prspect, with a pssible buried prphyry cpper-gldmlybdenum target at Cecilia River. Cpper in stream anmalies in the structural zne t/at the Mt Sisa vlcanic centre. The Tingi Intrusive Cmplex is expsed ver a 4 sq.km area making it a significant sized prphyry intrusive cmplex. Tingi is strikingly similar in tectnic setting, size, gelgy and mineralisatin t the Ok Tedi prphyry cpper-gld depsit. The main difference is the level f ersin, with Tingi being less erded than Ok Tedi and therefre almst ttally preserved.

Mineralisatin is described as structurally cntrlled prphyry cpper -gld mineralisatin, marginal lead -zinc skarn with assciated cpper gld -silver anmalism and lw sulphidatin quartz-sulphide gld + cpper style veins. Better cpper-gld mineralisatin generally ccurs at the upper margins f prphyry intrusins and within the adjacent hst rcks, particularly where breccias prvide permeability fr the migratin f mineralising fluids. Bitite hrnfels cap sme intrusins and cntact breccias are recgnised. The Bugainville (Panguna) cpper -gld prphyry has breccias frmed within a barely unrfed apphysis n the margin f a larger intrusin and as such, the breccias at Tingi represent excellent explratin targets. Histric explratin results at Tingi include: Strng gld in sil anmalies (including 90m f 2.14 g/t gld t a high f 6.09 g/t gld), plus strng lead-zinc ridge sil anmalies (including 390m f 0.17% lead + 0.33% zinc) n the nrthern half f the main target, reflecting stratabund base metal skarn mineralisatin alng the base f the Darai Limestne. The trpical setting may have leached cpper frm the surficial sils and rcks and prvided lw cpper assay results. A 250m x 200m sil rck-chip anmaly (>300 ppm cpper and >0.1 g/t gld) was delineated cincident with phyllic-altered dirite. Gld assays frm flat rck include 30 g/t gld, 12 g/t gld and 4.9 g/t gld.

Outcrp rck grab samples include 1.1g/t gld + 0.26% cpper + 0.29% lead + 8.8% zinc), 3.72g/t gld + 1.55% zinc + 0.53 g/t lead. Pyrite altered quartzite wall rcks had assays t 0.97 g/t gld + 58 g/t silver + 0.24% cpper, that prbably represents lw sulphidatin epithermal quartz-sulphide gld + cpper mineralisatin that frmed marginal t the prphyry cpper-gld intrusins. Channel sampling alng strike f Jerry s skarn (6m thick x 30m lng + an additinal 50m in gssan utcrp t the suthwest) returned an average fr 20 nn-cntinuus utcrp channel samples f 1.18g/t gld. A ttal f 15 x 2m channel samples were taken with best results f 2m cntinuus chip sampling shwing 28m f 0.78 g/t gld including 2m f 4.36g/t gld and 2m f 2.58g/t gld. 10m f plymetallic massive sulphide assayed 3.3 g/t gld + 0.12% cpper + 0.8% lead+ 1.9% zinc, within ptassically and phyllicly altered dirite, representing a feeder fr the base metal skarn mineralisatin. A 24m wide zne f cpper averaged 0.085% cpper within andesite prphyry, with up t 10% pyrite and minr chalccite. A 3m channel sample f brecciated massive sulphide magnetite skarn at the andesite prphyry / Darai Limestne cntact assayed 1.17 g/t gld + 33 g/t silver + 0.16% cpper + 1.80% lead + 3.50% zinc. The Baia Prject is a >4 sq km prphyry system, with the crrect gechemical, gelgical and structural characteristics that strngly warrants explratry drilling. Baia has a large cpper - gld - mlybdenum in sil anmaly and seven cpper- mlybdenum anmalus skarn targets that are defined by magnetic anmalies at the limestne /intrusive cntact. The prject is lcated n the Prgera Mine - Mt Kare Transfer Structure which reputedly cntrls fracturing and mineralisatin. It is abut 50km suth f Harmny's excellent Kili Teke prphyry cpper -gld discvery. Cpper in sil gechemistry demnstrates a distinct chesive anmaly that is abut 900m lng nrth- suth and abut 600m wide east -west. There are three smaller, but still large, cpper anmalies that are abut 500m lng and up t 200m wide, assciated with skarns. Zinc and lead sil gechemistry at Baia demnstrates a typical zinc/ lead hal arund a 1,000m diameter cre t the prphyry cpper system, which is apprximately cincident with the uter margins f the cpper anmaly. The zinc/ lead anmaly has a width f abut 500m and an uter annulus diameter f abut 2,200m. Dminant alteratin is prpylitic, with structurally cntrlled phyllic and patchy un-mineralised ptassic. Reginal airbrne magnetics shw peripheral magnetic anmalies related t intrusives. The prspect is lcated n a tpgraphic high in a majr ENE trending fault zne/ transfer structure (as per the OK Tedi Mine lcated t the WNW). The Cecilia Prspect can be rapidly advanced t drill testing with additnal explratin. Cecelia requires substantial explratin t evaluate its epithermal gld prspectivity. The mineralised zne is abut 2.5km lng, initially being ENE gld-zinc-lead anmalism that transitins thrugh an argillic alteratin zne t cpper mlybdenum - arsenic anmalism (each being >1,000m lng with argillic displaced t the suth). Cecilia has high sulphidatin epithermal gld type advanced argillic alteratin, with vuggy quartz - alunitepyrphyllite, plus strng argillic and prpylitic alteratin, which has been cvered by a recent agglmerate Stream sediment gechemistry >250ppm cpper and altered rck chip samples returned 0.616g/t gld and 0.12 g/t gld + 710ppm cpper. Intrusive utcrp up t 0.62% cpper with chalcpyrite and brnite in the upper reaches f the Prject area and altered grandirite flat f 0.18% cpper. Pebble dykes are cmmn, indicating a prbable buried prphyry cpper-gld-mlybdenum target. Despite its seemingly remte lcatin, ptential access t a pssible mine is relatively gd, with several ptins available t the area. The biggest plus is that it is lcated near the Hides Pwer Statin and immediately adjacent t Ess/Oil Search s Juha Gas Cndensate field. When Juha is develped is f prime imprtance t a pssible Tingi mine, in that a Tpping Plant culd be set up at Juha 3 t prvide unlimited gas fr a thermal pwer statin, diesel fuel fr mine peratins, and pssibly Jet A1 fuel fr aircraft peratins, plus better access.

DETAILS Tingi Valley prphyry cpper-gld and skarn Prject The Tingi Prspect is lcated n the brder between the Western and Suthern Highlands Prvinces abut 150 km suth east f Ok Tedi. The EL area is drains via several majr rivers such as the Nmad t the Strickland River and is very sparsely inhabited. The nearest rad head is at Tari, abut 50 km away. Access is better than at Bulag. The name Tingi derives frm the Huli wrd fr bad smell. There are strng sulphur seeps and hydrcarbn seeps alng Tingi Creek. The smell f sulphur can be very strng and can be smelt frm a helicpter flying near the creek. The valley is uninhabited, due t its rugged and inhspitable nature. Ownership f the valley is shared between three clans frm the Lavani Valley and the Sinali peple frm Tpi village, 8km dwnstream frm the main prspect. At present, there are tw airstrips in/near the area, Suabi and Daham. There are tw pssible rutes fr mbilisatin f a drilling rig t Tingi. The equipment culd be trucked t Tari via the Highlands (Okuk) Highway and then shuttled frm Tari t Suabi by Twin Otter. The alternative is t ship the cntainers t Kiunga and t fly the rig frm Kiunga t Daham. Bulk fuel is available at Kiunga and a bigger lad can be lifted ut f Kiunga at sea level than ut f Tari at 5500ft, but the distance is further. Gelgy The area is cvered by Meszic sediments (mudstne, siltstne, sandstne) verlain by early Tertiary limestne intruded by Tertiary Pleistcene mnznite and dirite stcks. Within the prspect, several small dirite stcks and sill cmplexes intrude Darai Limestne and underlying Meszic sediments. Cpper gld mineralisatin appears t be assciated with these intrusive bdies. The Tingi Valley Prspect is at the very rf f the intrusin cmplex and higher temperature cpper regimes wuld be expected at depth. Gld is best develped with the sulphide/magnetite mineralisatin that is assciated with majr NE-SW structures, with later N-S structures fr lcalising mineralisatin. A mdern airbrne magnetic/radimetric survey is recmmended t help map structures and znes f ptential mineralisatin including skarn and prphyry related intrusives. Histrical Explratin Petrleum cmpanies, explring the regin prir t BP's search fr prphyry cpper in the 1970 s, lcated a slitary rck flat grading 20 g/t gld. In the late 1960 s and early 70 s, CRA Explratin and BP cnducted reginal stream gechemical sampling fr prphyry cpper gld mlybdenum and lcated weak (up t 98ppm lead) anmalies in the vicinity f Tingi Valley. In the early 1980's, BP lcated altered intrusive rcks in the headwaters f the Wai Dia river and fllwing reginal mapping lcated the Tingi Valley Prspect. They did nt discver an expsed prphyry cpper system but assayed sme altered intrusive flat sample that assaying 20 g/t gld. Explratin PNG Pty Ltd carried ut an incnclusive ne-week field prgram in 1988 n the Tingi Valley area previus investigated by BP t evaluate its gld ptential. It reprted drainage gld anmalies and expsures f gldmineralised altered intrusive rcks. In 1991 Kennectt pegged this area t target cpper gld prphyry style mineralisatin. They acquired the pen file high-level aermagnetic data cvering the area and image re-prcessed it. Three magnetic anmalies were identified in the Tingi Valley area and a furth cincident with the Ku Stck abut 15km t the nrthwest. The aermagnetic and surface data suggested that tw separate prphyry targets exist in the Tingi Area thugh bth appeared buried beneath a cver f Darai Limestne r nly lcally expsed. Kennectt cmpleted tw field prgrams. The first was a helicpter supprted recnnaissance drainage sampling prgram in February 1992, which cvered the entire tenement area. The techniques used were bulk sediment (-80# and BLEG) and panned cncentrates. The secnd field prgram invlved surface mapping in the Tingi Valley area during February-March 1992. Kennectt delineated a 250m x 200m sil rck-chip anmaly (>300 ppm cpper and >0.1 g/t gld) cincident with phyllic-altered dirite. A 10m expsure f plymetallic massive sulphide enclsed within ptassically and phyllicly altered dirite assayed 0.12% cpper, 3.3 g/t gld and 0.8% lead and 1.9% zinc. Kennectt cnsidered that this utcrp may represent a feeder fr the base metal skarn mineralisatin emanating frm the mineralised dirite.

Scattered thrughut the area are spt gld assays frm flat f 4.9 g/t gld, 30 g/t gld, and 12 g/t gld. Strng lead-zinc ridge sil anmalies flank the nrthern half f the main target and reflect stratabund base metal skarn mineralisatin alng the base f the Darai Limestne. Kennectt withdrew frm PNG fr crprate reasns. In 1996, Wantk Mining cnducted detailed prgramme f mapping and trenching and shallw drilling f five Jacr drillhles ttalling 34.01m, which was abandned due t cntinuus equipment failure (this is nt regarded as drilling as it did nt achieve sufficient depth penetratin. A ttal f 137 tw-metre channel samples were cllect frm the trench, 90 additinal rck chip and flat samples and 17 petrlgical samples were als cllected. The tw-metre channel sampling alng Tingi Creek prduced a 24m wide zne f anmalus cpper averaging 853 ppm cpper within andesite prphyry cntaining up t 10% pyrite and minr chalccite. In Har creek a 3m hrizntal channel sample f brecciated massive sulphide magnetite skarn assayed 1.17 g/t gld, 1623 ppm cpper 1.795 lead, 3.5% zinc and 33 g/t silver. This zne is at the cntact between the andesite prphyry intrusin and the verlying Darai Limestne.

The Tingi Valley Prspect is strikingly similar in tectnic setting, size, gelgy and mineralisatin t the Ok Tedi prphyry cpper-gld depsit. The main difference is the level f ersin; Tingi Valley prphyry system is less erded than Ok Tedi and therefre almst ttally preserved. Explratin targets are: Prphyry style cpper-gld mineralisatin (in Angali and Andiria Creeks). Skarn Gld Base metal n the intrusive margins with the limestne. Epithermal higher grade gld + silver mineralisatin. Breccia hsted base metal stckwrk veining (at Hg Creek). NE-SW fault cntrlled massive epidte-pyrite, massive pyrite and massive magnetite-pyrite mineralisatin (at Angali Creek, Hg Creek and Magnetite Creek). Carsn-Pratt Explratin In 2003, Carsn-Pratt tk 23 rck chip samples in Tambara Creek. N visible gld was bserved frm panned cncentrate. A ttal f 32 rck samples were taken in the Tingi Creek and gelgical mapping (Figure 3) was cmpleted which distinguished Hrnblende Dirite, Quartzite and breccia. The Tingi Intrusive Cmplex is expsed in a 4 sq.km area, the intrusives are bscured t the suth by Darai Limestne. The cmplex can be described as prphyritic andesites/dirites and micrdirites emplaced as stcks, sills and dykes. Sulphide mineralisatin is widespread at Tingi and alteratin phases (Figures 4 and 5) include: Early ptassic verprinted by pervasive chlrite and sericite alteratin Pervasive sericite alteratin Intense sericite-clay alteratin assciated with fault znes Pervasive phyllic t chlrite alteratin is very strng and verprints all ther alteratin Magnetite alteratin assciated with chlrite alteratin Secndary bitite develpment (ptassic alteratin) at the cntact with quartzite Apprximately 700m alng Hg Creek was traversed and sampled, where siltstne and limestne have been intruded by dirite stck and dykes. The main styles f mineralisatin bserved included fault-cntrlled massive sulphide (pyrite lens f 5m x 2m x 15m), epidte-pyrite mineralisatin and breccia hsted base metal stckwrking. Best rck sample results include 1.1g/t gld + 2600ppm cpper + 2930ppm lead + 8.8% zinc, 3.72g/t gld +1.55% zinc + 2530ppm lead. Channel sampling alng strike f Jerry s skarn returned an averaged assay fr 20 nn-cntinuus channel samples f 1.18g/t gld. Massive sulphide as pyrite is develped alng the cntact between siltstne and intrusive. Mre mdest gld (0.1-0.5g/t gld and 1000-3600ppm cpper) in feldspar prphyry are present at several bdies centred arund the ld Kennectt Camp. Carsn-Pratt labelled Magnetite Creek where they discvered an utcrp f massive magnetite-pyrite (Jerry s Skarn), >6m thick, 30m strike length + additinal 50m in gssan utcrp t the suthwest. A ttal f 15 x 2m channel samples were taken with best results f the 2m cntinuus chip sampling shwing 28m f 0.78 g/t gld including 2m f 4.36g/t gld and 2m f 2.58g/t gld. Mapping and sampling was cmpleted at Andiria Creek where pyrite, epidte and magnetite mineralisatin ccurs in veins and as disseminatins in the grundmass. Mapping and rck sampling was cmpleted alng Angali Creek and its tributaries. Hapialu Creek was traversed at the cntact f Andesite and Limestne where Andesite was prpylitically altered with pyrite. N rck samples were taken. During 2004, Carsn-Pratt fcussed their explratin field wrk n Hg Creek and Angali Creek area where they cmpleted grid based gelgical mapping and sil sampling at 50m interval, plus relevant 2m channel samples. They als mapped and sampled Camp, Breccia, Magnetite, and Kungi Creeks.

The Landslide was sampled and was chalcpyrite-brnite-cvellite rich within bitite-altered Feldspar Hrnblende Prphyry in the main Landslide utcrp with best results f 1845ppm cpper and 0.47g/t gld. Chalccite was mapped in a small utcrp t the nrth. Structures Nrthwest - develped in the frmatin f the fld belt and are parallel t the structural grain f the cuntry. Nrtheast Deep penetrating Arc nrmal and reactivated several times fr the emplacement f Ok Tedi, Prgera and Mt Kare. Nrth/Suth Hst prphyry style and base metal mineralisatin. Carsn-Pratt Cnclusins P.Gldner s recmmendatin t further investigate the intrusive/ limestne cntact in the upper Tambara and Tingi Creeks (and Angali and Kungi Creeks) fr pssible gld veining shuld be fllwed up. G.Crbett s recmmendatin is that cntinued explratin shuld fcus upn detailed gelgical mapping and attempt t mre clearly delineate the structural cntrl t cpper-gld mineralisatin. One anticipates that adequate utcrp might ccur within creeks and this culd be enhanced by limited cntur trenching. Mineralised veins in prphyry systems cmmnly ccur as packages f sheeted quartz veins which can be mapped and prjected between creek expsures fr cntinued investigatin. Gelgical mdelling shuld attempt t clearly define the extent f mineralised intrusins. Clarke cncludes in the 2004 Annual Reprt, that the nrth east trending fault cntrlled gld-base metal mineralisatin may be skarn related. The fact that it was nt detected suggests that it is a narrw discrete bdy. Nevertheless it still represents an attractive target with ptential fr high grade gld-cpper mineralisatin. Explratin shuld track dwn the surces f the skarn and gssan flats fund t date. The lcatin f Kennectt s 3.3 g/t gld channel sample near the Hg-Angali Creek junctin needs t be re-lcated. C.Meyer describes their 30 g/t gld sample as being andesite prphyry cntaining disseminated and vein pyrite. The utcrps f andesite in Andiria and Siki Creeks need t be examined t try find the surce f this sample. The Siki-Angali ridge needs t be sampled t cnfirm Kennectt s 90m f 2.14 g/t gld in sils. The mapping and sampling f Siki Creek, especially abve its junctin with the Wai Dia, needs t be cmpleted. Baia and Cecelia Prjects The Baia and Cecelia prject areas were mst recently held by Barrick Gld, wh cnsidered the Fld Thrust belt t be the best place t explre in PNG (see their plan n reginal mineralisatin endwment). The prjects were discvered as anmalus cpper and gld in stream sediment and surface flat / utcrp rck chip samples. The primary targets fr Frntier are shallw buried prphyry cpper- mlybdenum- gld mineralisatin +higher grade skarns and epithermal gld. Bth areas are clse (fr PNG) t infrastructure such as the Hides Pwer Statin and rads. The PNG Mining act requires relinquishment f 50% f an EL's area befre the end f Year 2. FNT has initiated this prcess and will retain 3 nn-cntiguus prject areas (Tingi, Baia & Cecilia/Mt Sisa). The prspect is lcated

n a tpgraphic high in a majr ENE trending fault zne/ transfer structure (as per the OK Tedi Mine lcated t the WNW). Baia Prject Barrick cnfirmed Baia as a mineralised prphyry system dminated by prpylitic and structurally cntrlled phyllic alteratin. It has patchy un-mineralised ptassic alteratin which is related t ptassium equivalent radimetric anmalies ver the ptassic altered mapped dirite. Ridge and Spur sil sampling results cmpleted by Barrick shw anmalus cpper assciated with the central dirite intrusive. Anmalus gld in rck samples als ccur within the central dirite. Anmalus cpper in sils als ccurs alng the margins f a feldspar prphyry 1km further t the suthwest. Anmalus lead + zinc in sil samples ccur as an uter hal surrunding the anmalus cpper in sil samples related t the central dirite. The lead and zinc hal is indicative f mineralisatin relatively clse t the heat surce/intrusive. Dirite is lcated within a vlcanic centre n a tpgraphic high which has intruded Limestne with an adjacent Hrnblende Rich Prphyry mapped n its nrthern margin. Accrding t Barrick, magnetic anmalies peripheral t the central dirite are related t intrusives f hrnblende prphyry stcks and sills. There is a distinct diplar magnetic anmaly related t hrnblende prphyry alng the nrthern cntact with the central dirite. A ttal f seven skarn targets (BSK01 t 07) have been identified which are related t near surface magnetic bdies at the cntact between limestne and intrusive. Barrick describe an ENE structural crridr which cntrls fracturing and cpper-mlybdenum-gld mineralisatin at Baia and believe the primary drill targets t be buried prphyry and skarn mineralisatin.

A higher reslutin helicpter magnetic survey wuld help define skarn and prphyry drill targets and a grund 3DIP survey wuld better define sulphide related mineralisatin, hwever, the sil gechemistry is adequate t initiate drilling n.

Baia Skarn Targets: BSK01 This 700m x 300m (apprx. 22 Ha) target area ccurs within a strng large near surface magnetic anmaly n the cntact between hrnblende rich prphyry and limestne. Minr anmalus cpper in sil samples ccur within the prphyry intrusive. BSK02 A 17 Ha target cincident with a near surface magnetic anmaly and an anmalus mlybdenum in rck sample. Feldspar hrnblende prphyry in cntact with limestne has been mapped within this target area. BSK03 Fur anmalus mlybdenum (10 t 50ppm) in rck samples ccur within this 11 Ha target. A small diplar magnetic anmaly ccurs ver the cntact between fact mapped limestne and feldspar hrnblende prphyry. BSK04 A 9 Ha target ver the cntact between limestne and feldspar hrnblende prphyry assciated with a weak magnetic anmaly. BSK05 A 16 Ha target area assciated with anmalus cpper in sils and at the cntact between limestne and feldspar prphyry. This intrusive cmplex is abut 1km suthwest f the central dirite and assciated with a distinct diplar magnetic anmaly. BSK06 This 9Ha area is elngated nrth-suth alng anmalus cpper in sil samples and cvering the magnetic cntact between limestne and feldspar prphyry. BSK07 A 4 Ha target area f anmalus cpper in sils n the cntact between limestne and dirite n the suthern edge f a large near surface magnetic anmaly. Cecilia Prspect The Cecilia Prspect can be rapidly advanced t drill testing with additnal explratin.; it requires substantial explratin t evaluate its epithermal gld prspectivity.

Gelgy, Alteratin and Mineralisatin n Tpgraphy Image Gelgy, Alteratin and Mineralisatin n Magnetics (TMI) Image
