Qualification awarded with mention Doctor Europaeus. Title of the thesis: Nonlinear differential equations having non-sign-definite weights. Supervisor: Prof. F. Zanolin; 19/03/2014: MSc (cum laude) in Mathematics, University of Udine. Title of the thesis: Snap-back repellers. Advisor: Prof. F. Zanolin. Research Activity Research Interests The research activity is driven in the area of Nonlinear Analysis with special attention to boundary value problems (BVPs) associated with ordinary differential equations or partial differential equations. It also reach the study of dynamical systems to model and treat nonlinear phenomena arising from applications. The main arguments addressed follows: L study existence, uniqueness or multiplicity of solutions for nonlinear BVPs with indefinite weights; L study multiplicity of solutions for BVPs with nonlinearities interfering asymptotically with the spectrum of the differential operator; L analysis of complex behavior for discrete and continuous dynamical systems; L numerical simulation to perform bifurcation analysis or investigate on chaotic dynamics.
