Search for exotic baryons decaying to J/y L Observation of two J/y p states named P c around 4380 MeV/c 2 and 4450 MeV/c 2 in L b J/y p K - decays reported by LHCb. Numerous states with the quark contents including cc pair and three light quarks are expected to exist within 500 MeV of the J/y p threshold. Search in the M(J/y L), where J/y mm, L pp -. Event reconstruction D0 Run II integrated luminosity 10.4 fb -1 p T (m) > 1 GeV/c; p T (mm) > 4 GeV/c 2.92 < M(mm) < 3.25 GeV/c 2 p T (L) > 0.7 GeV/c 1.110 < M(L) < 1.122 GeV/c 2 p T (p) > 0.15 GeV/c Non-prompt: J/y decay length significance in the transverse plane is greater than 3 and L decay vertex is closer to J/y decay vertex than to the primary vertex. Moriond QCD 2017 A. Popov (Institute for High Energy Physics, Protvino) 03/27/2017 9

Search for exotic baryons decaying to J/y L Prompt Non-prompt L b J/yL Search procedure Binned maximum likelihood fits to the distribution of the J/y L invariant mass in the range from the J/y L threshold to 4.7 GeV/c 2. F fit (M,M x,г x )=f bgr F bgr (M)+f sig F sig (M,M x,s x ), where F sig (M,M x,s x ) - Gaussian function with free M x, s x ; f bgr, f sig - normalization coefficients. Search for exotic baryons decaying to J/y L Mass fits of the sum of signal + background or background only to the data were performed with the signal mass set at fixed values in 10 MeV steps. Local statistical significance is defined as 2 ln (L 0 ΤL max ). The highest local significance of 3.45s occurs at M = 4.32 GeV/c 2. If LEE (computed in the same 500 MeV interval) is taken into account it leads to the global significance of 2.8s. No evidence for new baryons decaying to J/y L Moriond QCD 2017 A. Measurement of D + -meson production cross section at low p T Test and refine QCD models at small momentum transfer. Improved estimation of background rates from neutrinos produced in decays of charm hadrons from cosmic-ray interactions with atmospheric nuclei. Previous measurements in pp collisions were restricted to mesons with p T > 6 GeV/c. D + K - p + p +, p T (D + ) > 1.5 GeV/c 5 p T bins: 1.5-2.5, 2.5-3.5, 3.5-4.5, 4.5-6.5, 6.5-14.5 GeV/c σ i = N i Τ2 Ldt ε i B CDF Run II integrated luminosity 10 fb -1 Zero and minimum bias triggers were used. Rapidity interval: y < 1 Moriond QCD 2017 A. Popov (Institute for High Energy Physics, Protvino) 03/27/2017 12

Measurement of D + -meson production cross section at low p T In each p T bin the yields of primary (from pp interaction or excited charm resonances), secondary (from b-hadron decays) D + decays and combinatorial background were determined from simultaneous ML fit to the unbinned distributions of M(K - p + p + ) and D + impact parameter. 2950 primary D + are obtained from the fit. Efficiency ε i which includes detection, reconstruction and selection efficiencies, varies from 0.27 to 7.5% depending from p T bin. Main systematic uncertainties: primary D + yield (0.9-1.5%), silicon detector efficiencies (11.5%). Moriond QCD 2017 A. Popov (Institute for High Energy Physics, Protvino) 03/27/2017 13

Measurement of D + -meson production cross section at low p T Eff. p T : p T at which the point-value of cross section equals the predicted p T -averaged value over the bin. The total fiducial cross section, obtained by summing over all p T bins, is: 71.9 ± 6.8(stat) ± 9.3(syst) mb 1.5 < p T (D + ) < 14.5 GeV/c, y < 1 Moriond QCD 2017 A. Popov (Institute for High Energy Physics, Protvino) 03/27/2017 14

Conclusion X(5568) B s p, B s D s m X. There is an excess of events in the data consistent with the decay X(5568) B s p, B s J/y f which was previously reported by D0. The mass, natural width and production rates in the semileptonic and hadronic channels are consistent. Combined significance for semileptonic and hadronic channels is 5.7s. https://www-d0.fnal.gov/run2physics/www/results/prelim/b/b68/ Search for exotic baryons J/y L. In the mass range between threshold and 4.7 GeV/c 2 no evidence for new baryons decaying to J/y L have been found, the most significant deviation from background-only hypothesis is seen at M(J/y L)= 4.32 GeV/c 2 with a global significance (including LEE) 2.8s. https://www-d0.fnal.gov/run2physics/www/results/prelim/b/b69/ D + -meson production cross section measurement down to D + p T 1.5 GeV/c. This is unique result in that it probes strong-interaction dynamics in a range unexplored in charm production from pp collisions. While the measurements lie within the band of theoretical uncertainty, differences in shape suggest that theoretical predictions can benefit by taking into account these results T. Aaltonen et al.
