The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 1st Christmas Fest Tree Decorating Contest. This contest is open to schools within the North Baldwin school feeder pattern only December 7th & 8th at Rex Park in Downtown Bay Minette. Applications should be completed and returned no later than Friday, NOVEMBER 2, 2018 (ALL Applications received AFTER NOVEMBER 2, 2018 will require a $10.00 late fee) North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce ATTN: Christmas Fest Tree Decorating Contest P.O. Guidelines: A completed application, along with a $25.00 Entry Fee, must be received with the application. This contest is open to schools within the North Baldwin school feeder pattern only. Each school must raise their own funds for the tree and all materials to decorate the tree. Participants must provide an artificial tree no taller than 12 feet high and no less than 4 feet high. The tree MUST have lights. ONLY LED lights will be allowed for power purposes. Power will be provided to light the tree only. All trees must provide one sign with their school name on it that will be placed next to the tree. Sign size limited to 24 wide x 12 high Requirements: tree must have at least one recycled material incorporated in to the decoration. Theme: tree must be decorated in a Christmas holiday theme. Set Up & Breakdown Each school is REQUIRED to check-in with North Baldwin Chamber Staff at Rex park on December 6th to be given your tree location inside Rex Park. Businesses are still in operation in the downtown area until 5:00pm, please understand if you have to wait on parked cars to be moved in front of the park. Decoration Day: December 6th - 5:00 pm until 8:30 pm. The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bay Minette will not be held responsible for any damaged or missing decorations during the Christmas Fest event. Removal Date: December 8th after 4:00 pm The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bay Minette will not be held responsible for any damaged, missing trees and/or decorations after 4:00 pm December 8th. Voting & Awards Crowd Favorite Voting will begin at 10:00 am December 7th and end at 12:00 noon on December 8th through the North Baldwin Chamber s Facebook Christmas Fest Event page. Winners will be announced on stage at 3:00 pm December 8th.

Last But Not Least: This is a family oriented event. Profanity, vulgar items and/or actions will NOT be tolerated. The 36th Annual Christmas Fest is an outdoor rain or shine event, no reimbursements will be given for inclement weather. All participating schools should prepare for all types of weather; hot, cold, snow, rain or shine. The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bay Minette reserves the right to refuse any application that is incomplete or inappropriate as determined by the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, City of Bay Minette and/or the Christmas Fest Committee. The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bay Minette also reserve the right to refuse any tree from exhibiting in the festival, at any time, for any reason deemed appropriate by the Executive Director of the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, Mayor of Bay Minette and/or the Christmas Fest Committee.
