WIMBY Background The What s in My Back Yard? (WIMBY) tool was developed to provide information on the recovery status of neighborhood assets in Southern Louisiana post-katrina and -Rita. The WIMBY tool consists of two parts: 1. WIMBY Reports provide data in a printable format at the parish, zip code, and neighborhood (Orleans Parish only) levels 2. WIMBY Maps illustrate the locations of open facilities, percentages of Road Home applicant option selections, and properties that have been sold to the State
Identifying Scope of Information Initial request for information identified four categories of interest (water, gas, schools, building permits) Road Home operating and support groups were also asked to identify data categories that would be helpful.
