Graduation-Required Assessment for Diploma (GRAD) General Directions You are now going to take the Minnesota Graduation-Required Assessment for Diploma (GRAD). All students who first entered grade 8 in 005-006 or later are required to meet the GRAD requirements in order to receive a diploma from a Minnesota public high school.
