Join us as we look into the world of weather and experiment with making it ourselves. You ll have a whole new view of the clouds by the end of this week! Workshop of Wonders Week Vacation Bible School Week J U N E 9 T H 1 3 T H, 2 0 1 4 Calling all builders and inventors! Join us each morning for Vacation Bible School fun, and in the afternoon put on your thinking caps to make your own inventive creations. Summertime Sweet Tooth Camp J U N E 1 6 T H 2 0 T H, 2 0 1 4 Jump into the world of Willy Wonka, and share your love of sugary treats with candy making, baking, creating, and experimenting! The perfect place to live your dream of becoming a food scientist. Red Carpet Premiere Camp J U N E 2 3 R D 2 7 T H, 2 0 1 4 Roll out the red carpet with us, as we learn how movies are made and what it takes to turn our dreams into a motion picture. We will make our own short videos using animation, photos, music, and acting. On Friday, we will host our own red carpet premiere to showcase our creations.

We will take you behind the scenes and share the secrets and science behind many popular magic tricks. Learn card tricks, disappearing acts, and other visual illusions. Bring your top hat and become your own expert magician. Water Wonders Camp J U L Y 7 T H - 1 1 T H, 2 0 1 4 Behold the wonders of water. It may be just about everywhere you look, but have you ever thought about all the amazing things you can do with such a simple thing? Have fun with us as we dive in and learn more about the ways we can drink it, play with it, and power things with it. Spend the week celebrating wonderful water! Winter Wonderland Week J U L Y 1 4 T H -1 8 T H, 2 0 1 4 Warm weather won t ruin our winter fun! No winter activity is off limits as we make our own snow, and imagine a wintery landscape for our cold weather favorites. Be prepared to build snowmen, paint with ice, and play your favorite winter sports this summer!

What s Your Language Camp J U L Y 2 1 S T - 2 5 T H, 2 0 1 4 Use language as a way to connect with others from around the world. Learn key phrases and traditions of several countries and learn how to communicate with a new friend even if you speak a different language. Meet individuals who are bilingual and celebrate and share your traditions with each other. Camp Shipwrecked! J U L Y 2 8 T H -A U G U S T 1 S T, 2 0 1 4 Come sail the seas with us and explore ocean travel. Learn how boats float and travel in water, and discover the history and lives of pirates. If the travel gets rough along the way, we will learn how to survive on a deserted island. OUR WEEKLY CAMPS AUGUST 2014 Recycled Art Camp A U G U S T 4 T H -8 T H, 2 0 1 4 Take everyday household items and turn them into masterpieces as we learn how recycling can give new life to ordinary objects in the form of art. No item is off limits and your creativity can go wild! Some art will be functional while others will look beautiful on your wall. All you need to bring is an open mind and imagination and be ready to dig into the fun!

World Food Camp Rockets, Rovers, & Red Planets Camp A U G U S T 1 1 T H - 1 5 T H, 2 0 1 4 3,2,1 Blast Off! and join us on an out of this world space adventure. Practice your spacewalk and become an expert stargazer in this space camp. We will make and launch our own mini space shuttles and learn about the adventures of past and present astronauts. A U G U S T 1 8 T H - 2 2 N D, 2 0 1 4 Travel the world one plate at a time. With distinct flavors from around the globe learn what children in other countries eat for their meals. Find out where your favorite food originally came from and challenge your taste buds with a variety of new flavors. Take time for tea one afternoon, and plan to practice your chopstick skills after we make our own sushi snack. What to Bring: Each Day Campers Should Bring: (All items need to be labeled with the child s name) Sunscreen Swimsuit and Towel Bug Spray Water Bottle Nutritious Sack Lunch - (for the drink please pack milk, water, or juice as pop will not be allowed.) What to Wear: Campers should wear comfy clothes that can get messy. We will be walking, playing games, and learning hands-on everyday so students should dress accordingly. Appropriate Clothes Include: T-shirts and Shorts Tennis Shoes Pool shoes

School Key Ca rd Acces s For your child s safety, our school is a locked facility. Parents are able to obtain key cards to access our rooms upon registration. There is no additional fee for the card as long as it is returned on time. Activities Galore! How to Register: 1. Go to www.sjs-saints.com 2. Click on Register for the 2014 Summer Day Camp Program. 3. The link will take you to a third party registration website, TADS. Complete the admissions application and enrollment information form for your child. At the end of the registration process, you will be asked to pay a one time $50 activity fee. 4. Submit the application. 5. Mrs. Fulton will contact you to welcome you to the Summer Day Camp Program once your application has been accepted. When you register for camp, plan on being active and on the go. It is our goal to go on a field trip each day, or bring the fun to us with guest speakers. Your activity fee will help cover the purchase of items like city pool passes and event tickets throughout your time with us. City Bus Pas s Included With your registration, we include a free city bus pass, which will assist your child in attending our daily field trips.
